Why do you play Aion?

some one make why would you wanna quit aion thread now !!!

 

I have to admit that I actually love Aion. It's flight system is far more advanced than any other game that has it. The graphics are absolutely stunning. The soundtracks are not only appropriate, but gripping. The cutscenes are...crap, but I don't watch them anyway lol One of the things that made me fall in love with Aion was flying and the Abyss. Fortresses and Artifacts. The PvPvE aspect. How cool it looks, duh. The music is SO AWESOME. It always gets me pumped to kill people. Outside of that, you still have rifting available, though it's much less prevalent on this server. It's possible it's the same in retail with the addition of Balaurea, which, might I add, is the most beautiful and well-crafted region I've seen in any game. I like the stigma system, the armsfusion was entirely unique to this game(as far as I know), manastones, god stones...all allow for variation on a player's ability and function. So much to say...armors look really cool. Spell and Attack animations are very vibrant and eye-catching. PvP is fun in groups or solo. PvE actually doesn't bore me. Maybe it's because, as an assassin, I like see how quickly I can kill mobs lol All the classes have their usefulness in PvP with the stigma system. Clerics aren't simply squishy healers in this game. It's refreshing, but annoying haha And, of course, you have the community. But who cares about them? lol jk

And like a few of you, I'm waiting on GW2. I don't like paying $15/month to play a game, but I also hate having to spend months voting just to get a single set of armor. Luckily, beta should be available at the end of this year. YAY!

Edit: Why the hell did I type all that? I asked myself the same question until I remembered that I'm defragging my harddrive lol

 

Simple reasons, Best. Pvp. System. Ever. Also despite the constant QQ over classes here, I find them quite balanced, normally the complainer was fighting someone in full ABG.

Also I love the daily events. 8D Except the unscramble events, I hate that one.

I used to play because of boredom, but now i hardly play at all.... but if i do its usually to spend some time with the girlfriend<3

Boring summer, decided to see changes in Aion after a year. Now I stay for pvp and friends since there is no monthly payment needed
