Agreed here, As i said powerselling happens and WILL happen its an integral part of MMO private server or not, from the list i saw id gues maybe 30-50% of it is dupe not 90%. Hvae u noticed that getting money has become so much more easier? the average player is sprouting a coupla billions with ease. The influx in rich consumers has of course increased the supply and therefor demand on several items, thereby undercutting several providers and lowering the prices significantly. Its just market dynamics nothing special

I found gold medals in broker for 100m and i'm reselling them for double the price....maybe i bought dupe medals...or maybe not....the fact is that you can buy in legal way medals from broker and resell them....this doesn't mean all players are duper...

and btw...how can we know if a weapon,or medal,or godstone is duped?we can't just stop buying,only because there are dupers....

 

I've seen someone have 65 enchantment stones lv. 145s :lol:

 

It pains me that I'm a WoW dev that has to come on Aion to check something like this out. I open the broker page and guess what, stacks of 12 medals staring me in the face!

I am really surprised that the price of those 1k credits godstones keep falling ang falling dramatically. Yesterday I saw 1 with the price 600 mil, come in to check the broker and found out the cheapest 1 is 550 mil. 2 hours later, a guy shouted to sell 2 with the price = 400 mil /godstone, this is not good at all.

 

right now in Heiron there was a guy selling hundreds of gold medals for 30 - 70mil each.....:lol::lol:

 

i suggest to not buy high lvl item or rare item.. because on my experience is when gm take or remove all dupe item, they not give back the kinah.. so, buying dupe item is your own risk (we don't know the deference between dupe or real item rite?)

even they sell on cheap price, that's not mean he/she is dupe the item. because the economic principal u know? the more quantity of item, the low price it will be..

 

A WoW dev had to log on Aion to fix a simple task any normal GM could've done.

..Yeah, that's pretty sad. I'm starting to have second thoughts about Gamez.

 

Update: Lots of people with golden medals, I heard of a possible way that people could be getting them in which case that method needs to be IMMEDIATELY fixed.

I reported it to the staff section as well as requesting a dupe removal script which should take care of most if not all of the duped medals (and hopefully godstones, enchant stones etc. too) including those that are on the broker from offline characters (which I can't do anything about) once one of the CEOs gets around to it.

Just letting you guys know that it IS being worked on, the result might not be immediate though so hang in there.

 

i think you should fix duped items as well. i see ppl selling tahabata for extremely low price but in large quantity

 

Several dupe methods have been fixed. It doesn't make the items disappear in game. So there are people running around with 100,000 gold medals etc. It needs to be investigated but at the moment were preparing to update the core server from AU to AL, a lot of testing is in progress.

You sir, have my sincere gratitude. Both Alente and Angal read the thread before you and didn't say a word.

Honestly taha gear isn't something to worry about, since it is essentially free anyways. My concerns regard hard to obtain gear and items that harm the server if circulated in proliferous amounts.

 

Maybe because Alente and Angal are GMs and have nothing to do with development? And even if they do , it's not their priority.

@Edixoid : I don't really think the time needed for the fix is so important being that the dupes will be removed after all, but it is needed though D:<

 

So what happens if we purchased something from someone and it turns out to be a duped item? Will it disappear?

 

I'm only a developer for WoW not Aion, but in Alente and Angal's defense they are awesome GMs and I'm less worried about them than some others whom I won't mention. (as if you can't figure that part out)

Also the fix is pretty big, its not a duping method as much as something that probably went wrong in development (if its true, this is still to be confirmed) so its something that is very important.

Honestly I can't say. As far as I know the "dupe remover script" as we call it doesn't differentiate between real or duped, it mostly just uses quantity as an identifier (speculation, I'm not a CEO, i've never seen the script). Things like Golden Medals would probably dissapear off the face of the earth (for better or worse), no items would be removed since we really can't tell if any are duped except manually. Enchant stones and godstones are iffy.

 

They can still ban dupers. That's what they do. They ban exploiters, answer questions, and troll forums. Or that's what they are supposed to do anyhow. God knows they don't run many events. Really not much else for them to do.

 

Is it possible for me to become a beta tester? What must i do? Who must I slay?
