Question about ping

I play on retail i have 30-50ping i come here i play 150-200 and higher is that normal here or whats the problem. ?

 

I'm playing with 670 ms ... I think, you don't have a problem xD

 

Well servers are located in US so actually such ping is good enough. There are some tools which decrease your latency a lot. I don't know their names any more but you can search it on our forum.

I have a weird situation, Back in Puerto Rico (which is over seas for those who don't know) I had 32-57ms now I'm at north carolina (near Gamez server) and I'm on 48-71 and I ask my self how the hell in PR I had lower ping than in the US itself? I have a 5mb connection and in PR I had 3mb connection...

 

sometimes the route it self.

some isp got long routes other might have shorter.

you can try
tracert [gamezserver]

you can see how many hops or servers it goes through before reaching to gamez server and see also which server took longer to respond that's causing the delay.

 

I don't know what your location is, but a ping of 150 - 200 is already good. I'm using Battleping and Leatrix Latency Fix and I got a ping like you, so download and install Leatrix and check your ping again. If there is no difference then try Battleping or use both.

 

using leatrix. ping decreased from 550-600 to 200-250. i don't wanna use battle ping, 'cause i don't wanna buy it and i don't like 1h DC

 

ehh, that sucks then yes i am using leatrix fix i know but its impossible to play the game properly with such high ping, seems that need to say bye bye to you guys

 

i have 200+ ping at best and 700+ ping at worst yet it's bearable for me.. and whats more? i play assassin which is highly dependent on good ping.. i'm struggling a bit when it comes to pvp yet i still manage to kill people (not braggin/i'm noob) you on the other hand got 100+ ping and you'r already givin up? lol you got a good ping.. if i have that kind of ping i'd be so happy

 

Thing is that i ant to play ranger/sin here and ofc sin depends more on ping you know why ? not because you need fast put runes on because each every skill you got to weave means every skill 1 auto attack wich becames almost same attack speed even just using skills... its not possible to play even with 100 ping with sin

 

You have much ping here coz the servers.

Retail have better servers, but gamez have server in US ( I think. )

 

I doubt about that ping is high because servers is better but yea main reason is because its far away, would be awesome to make one server in eu wich i doubt will also happend
