Parry still 0 damage?

    Why when you parry its still 0 damage? Is Evilset going to fix this? Parry is always reduced damage and not 0 damage.

    This is because they put.

    1º Block
    2º Parry (if not block)
    3º PvP defense
    4º Shields
    6º Defense
    5º Final Damage

    The right is:

    1º defense
    2º PvP Defense
    3º Block
    4º Parry if not block
    5º FInal Damage

    something like this

    (((Defense - (PvP Defense - Enemy Damage) - Block/Parry)) = Final Damage.

    If they start with BLock/Parry the damage will be reduced before your defense -.-
    soo

    Damage = 0

    i think they don't know what is the first.
    Block ? Parry ? Defense ? PvP Defense ?

    Ohh you seem to know the formula very well. It seems like defense and stuff is all messed up, because when you melee hit someone with your weapons it hits like 70 70 2 80 100 70 70 5 =.= its so weird

    The other aion server fixed this bug.

    Is because BLock/Parry need to be calculed after Defence.

    If you do 2000 damage and enemy defence reduce 500.
    Your end damage will be 1500 - Block/Parry = 650 damage + -

    But if you put first Block/parry.
    Your end damage will be 800 - Defense = 300 damage + -


    This is the same problem of Shields.
    Shield is primary, but they put it in wrong place.

    Retail aion Shield break fast, gamez aion shield is over power.
    soo, sorceres over power.

    Block is now used up before Parry.

    And what about defense: First Block/Parry or First Defense ?

    if you do first block/parry and second defense = Very Low damage, this can explain why 0 damage when parry/block

    The right is first defence and second BLock/parry, no ?
    Low damage but never zero

    Evilset did you test ingame how messed up the BLock and Parry is? Go ingame and test yourself and you will know how buggy Block/Parry is right now.

    Gladi can turn on Wall of Steel and Parry Parry Parry Parry Parry Parry Parry 0 damage. This is not how it is. Watch some retail videos. This is a major bug with Parry and defence calculations.

    Phsycal Defense
    Shield Buff (Stone Shield, Iron Skin and many others)

    Alright, if anyone can post formulas for parry/block/dodge/phyDef I would appreciate. I would like to compare with ours, because so far I see our formulas correct, maybe the issue is somewhere else.

    your formulas are correct evilset, they are forgetting about strike resist too and templar's passives skills.

    Obviously something is not correct when Gladiator Wall of Steel is Parrying with 0 damage every hit they receive.

    Please look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-macdl3FrQU @ 0:39 secs when Wall of Steel is on, its Parry with damage , not Parry and 0 damage right now in gamez

    Parry damage reduction was just reduced from 50% to 40% (retail) so it should be a lot better.

    it's obvious like the day light.
    for example my normal dmg on a temp is 200. when he block the atk, i should still deal 60dmg (block 70% of the dmg) on him. but it's 0. same go for parry. if he parry my atk it's 0dmg too, instead of 100dmg (reduce 50% of dmg)
    the formula is some how correct when the dmg is big enough. 500 or above. but if the dmg is small. it become 0 when u block or parry the atk.
