What class is best for my ping: 318ms

Alrighty folks my ping is 318ms and im wondering what class would be best for this type of ping?

Cleric or Sorc

 

Lol well as of now im Sin but not working well lol

 

I know someone who's quite good as a sin... and he plays with 400-500

Anyway, sorc would be the easiest. Yet to try cleric, so I can't comment.

well sins are one of the harder classes to learn a good ping isnt really required unless you plan to go dagg/sword or dagg/dagg and weave

but if your through with sins switch over to sorc

If u have a lot PIN dont use SIN , Try Sorcerer. a SIN need be faster not slow.

SM without good ping can die fast. It separates Pro sm from noob sm.

 

Yes thats true but it's often the ping on any class that seperates the average from the good.

 

I will tell you my opinion about each class.

1) Sorcerers
I play one myself , i got 500~600 ping and i can kill almost everyone. The only class that kills me sometimes is Spiritmaster because i don't have a second set with m.res , otherwise i'd beat just everyone. Clerics and Chanters can be also hard because when i try to cast , because of my ping i'm too slow and they manage to get away before i finish casting. It's an OP class like templar in Gamez , but it still requires a good Ping.

2) Spiritmasters
Worst class ever , relies on fears , has to socket full m.acc otherwise every m.res class kills it. Good Ping isn't needed at all for this.

3) Assassins
One of the hardest or maybe the hardest class to play in Aion in my opinion , requires low ping for the "Weaving" (Some autoattack tactic between using skills which requires good timing). Don't try it with 300ms+

4) Rangers
One of the class that sometimes kills me when i'm not ready , the damage burst is crazy , but their defence too low , almost every class can kill them. They also need some low ping to time their stuns etc. Rangers usually kill spellcasters only. Rangers/Assassins are the only thing that can kill a Spiritmaster without m.resist stones i guess...

5) Chanters
Once they buff , you better run. With Glacial Shard , my damage on them is no more than 1.5~2k. You need to cc them and wait for their buffs to go down or you're dead , they're as tough as templars when they got their buffs on (Except when templar uses Iron Skin which reduces the damage received by 50% for 30s)They heal but not as good as a cleric , dps classes manage to kill them before they heal usually. They also need to time their heals/stuns so a bad ping wouldn't help really.

6) Clerics
This class is the best one in the game if you play on Siel (All Stigmas) and have the neccessary items. Only sorcerers/assassins kill them sometimes because of the godstones(assassins) , the sleeplocking combos (sorcerers) , the timed stuns/silences (rangers) and of course the high dps of all three classes. You need some good ping to dispel the debuffs fast and pot silences etc so u can heal fast or you will die from high dps classes in general , 300 ping isn't bad for this class , but the best would be ~100ms.

7) Gladiators
This class is a good damage burst class , the best one you can use for mass pvp since it has AOE skills. You can use it with any ping i believe. However , it's not good at 1on1 fights because it lacks ccs. They got the annoying stumbles/knockbacks(or/and)knockdowns, etc.. but that's only if you let them reach you. On air though they can't do anything just like assassins. All they can do is damage burst.

8) Templars
My first class in Aion. One of the best classes in Retail , Also one of the best classes on Gamez now (Because of Break Power).
Can kill pretty much every melee class (Except for the assassins , they sometimes kill templars because of the crazy blind and silence godstone procs) They need to time their stuns against ranged classes after pulling them back or they're dead , people kite them. Still , it is possible to do it with 300 ping. A templar with the neccessary items (m.res/block sets etc.) can be really OP.

Play one of the following: Cleric,Sorcerer,Gladiator,Templar

My Suggestion: Gladiators aren't that Good , Play a Templar or a Cleric. Sorcerer might be Overpowered in Gamez because of the stigma but it's still a class that requires a good Ping.
The same goes for the Clerics' Heals too , it's hard to heal with 300+ ping.

If i was you , i would definitely choose Templar.

i suggest magic classes such as sm/sorc/cleric

 

Get sorc, if your ping goes 700 or more, you should run from hot fights with other pro people.

Templar is fine, but in Siel, if you don't kill fast, the Elyos/Asmo horde will catch up and ruin it all.
