What do y'all think? Are the blades an unfair advantage?

Yes, the blades are an unfair advantage, however, he should be permitted to continue to racing until a suitably large number of other athletes also gain blades, in which case there can be separate leagues for normal and amputated athletes.

A potential solution to this problem (prosthetic limbs > regular limbs) would be to augment the scores of competitors who have prosthetic limbs based on how they compare to regular legs (shock absorption, weight, etc).

Exactly how much of an advantage these limbs provide is subject to debate.

And then some, those "blades" are not designed to climb rock faces and are not "evolved" from arms. They were designed by engineers to do 1 thing and 1 thing alone... Run, very very fast.

They are light, flexible and require 0 oxygen to run, leaving far richer blood for other muscle groups.

He could run on chopsticks too, it would still be fair. Why didn't the others use those too?

Im impressed he can run like that at all as an amputee. I dont know enough about blades to say whether or not its an unfair advantage though.
