Some questions concerning server & other stuffs

Hey folks,

First things first: I'm a very pvp active person who played Aion since it's beta stages and quit right before 2.0. Now I'm considering of joining GamezAion but I seem to have some questions which I need some answers to. If there are some kind souls who can give me some of their time answering them, I'd really be grateful.

1) Server rates are 200x times compared to retail (exp wise), so I've read. But how are the rates on High Rate compared to Low Rate Sever? Since I'm playing on High Rate anyways, how long would you say, would someone need to reach max level if he plays straight through?

2) What's the server population on Siel and Lumiel? Has Siel a higher population than Lumiel? If you're either on Siel or Lumiel: How's the Elyos vs Asmodian rate? Are Elyos outnumbered?

3) The term "Spawn-camping" is kinda vague. Does that include Fortress Camping/Flight entrances as well?

4) In a few words: Tell me in what order you would do what to be able to be competitive like the rest?

5) Anything else I'm missing? Are there any more tips you could give new players?

Yes, the Exp rates are a lot higher than they are on Retail, it shouldn't take very long to reach 55 on Gamez, maybe a day, or two. The population on Siel is pretty big, therefore you get more zerg pvp/zerged/etc. On Lumiel, it's smaller, and it has a Stigma system (Which I'd prefer, but too bad I'm stuck on Siel.) And on Siel, the Asmos and Ely are pretty even, but on Lumiel I heard it was smarter to roll Asmo, because you get more solo pvp. Oh right, drops are horrible on our server in all honesty x.x You'll probably only manage an Anuhart/Besh set, and then you'll be stuck from there, trying to get AP/Gold medals to afford 50e. (Most people take the easy way out, and donate)

1-2 Days of leveling sounds alright to me. Since I hate PvE'ing, I'll go
and try to pvp all day and night anyways. So I hope it does not take
ages to get some pvp stuffs. D:

Yes EXP is high here and so Is AP gain so dont be surprised when you start pvping ;D
And Siel has a bigger population than Lumiel

However Lumiel has stigma system implemented and that causes alot of players to choose lumiel because they are looking for move balanced pvp. Siel has all stigmas so all classes are OP if used correct. ^_^

 

o-o if you're new... go lumiel you'll find about 2-3 ppl per hour :O if you go siel x_X get ready to find too many ppl at the same time.

 

incorrect, Lumiel isn't what it was before.

 

i would choose lumiel if i were you :3 it's not as populated as siel is, you have stigma system, you can pvp peacefully and in my opinion it's the best choice for new players.

 

That... is my intention! I'm quite used to zergs here and there, having played on Thor, one can
only find people during the daytime. But since this server is quite vast in timezones, I'll be happy
to find people on all times. ;3

 

Siel is better if you will prefer zergs than solo PVP, especially in Gelkmaros and Abyss (Not today, because of the patch. They activated the Fortress Shield [primum and teminon])
