Is it only me...?

Hi,
I just recently joined and downloaded this server two days ago, and have been looking forward to playing this game ever since. (seeing as i've always had my eye on playing Aion)
But...the server has been offline ever since i've installed it? (am i experiencing a bug or smthng?)
I have looked around and asked around(via the forum and main site), but nobody's given me a clear answer.
Is this server online or not? And is there an alternative to find out whether it is on or not? ( i don't particularly trust the game launcher atm; plus there was a link regarding whether or not to check if the servers up and running...but its apparently invalid upon clicking onto it =\ )

SO now, i create this post to get some answers.
Cause...I really want to play and i'm not finding any answers as to what's going on with the server. :sad:

P.s there seems to be no.. announcements regarding whether its running, or is down etc @_@
P.p.s I have tried logging in, but all i keep getting is "Cannot connect to authorization sever" and then the game closes. Have been doing this ever since @@
Nobody's telling me whether or not the game's actually running or that i'm experiencing bugs/problems.

The server is not down.
Perhaps you are running the wrong version? Where did you download Aion from?
Can you give us the current version you're running?

Do you receive an error? Screen freezes? Does it say the servers are down when you try logging in?
Post a screenshot if so.

I downloaded Aion from Ncsoft. The region's North America
and the Version=2.6.0.2
I thank you for informing me that the servers not down.
Now can you possibly help me out? What am i missing?

I get no errors, just; "Cannot connect to authorized server" then the client closes.

 

delete your server client, repair aion and make sure you install it in the right folder and for some reasons just downgrade your client version as well

 

You must install the Gamezaion Launcher. Download it from here http/gamezaion.com/Gamez%20Aion%20Installer.exe so that you are able to connect in Gamezaion Server.

 

I'm not sure. Your version of aion is compatable with the Gamez servers.
Try deleting your bin32 folder. Then go to the NCsoft launcher, right click on aion -> click repair.
Hope that does it.

 

Alright i shall try that. I just deleted my bin32 folder and is now repairing.

I have done so. After installing the game, i installed the launcher and installed it to ncsoft/aion.
Opening so, the stupid server status says "offline" (as always =.=)
And then i proceed to enter the game.
Upon entering, i enter my user and pw, for it to go "cannot connect to authorization server"
After that, the entire game client closes.

 

Is this what your aion folder looks like?
You're clicking the Gamezaion application in there?



Edit: Is your region set to north america? Open Ncsoft launcher, right click aion, properties.

 

again check whether you installed it in the right folder, cuz aion might have created 2 folders instead of one

Nope. Just did/all that and yet the same thing happens.
"cannot connect to authorization server"
and then closes.

If the launcher didnt work, use the .bat file, used it; same thing happened. No diff.
I followed the instructions clearly on the site and forum...looked @ the problems listed yet i don't see mine listed =S

i've been dealing with this problem since i updated to 2.6..i can't login at all and i keep getting "Cannot connect to authorization server" all the time. i searched all posts about this and tried all fixes suggested but with no use

i am not yet sure that down grade might fix that problem but still, you should ask someone for bin32 folder, who's version of aion is 2.6 and not above, unfortunately i dont have aion on my pc atm or i'd have uploaded it for you

OMG finally got it fixed and working!!
Turns out all i had to do was allow it through my firewall (i cnt believe it Zzz >_>)
laaame i know but omg its working!!
And its swaaa cool!
