New player and few questions

Hi everyone, i've just logged yesterday for the first time in Siel , i played Aion a lot in the official Servers and quitted after a couple of years 'cause of Boredom/Lack of team and guild playing.

Since i'm kinda new of this server (and 2.6 honestly) i'd like to ask you guys a couple of questions:

1)Drop rate is huge compared to the official server, but i can't drop weapons from monsters and i'm actually L44, why is that? i could use some better weapons since i still hold the (in)Famous Karmic Spear

2) I Saw that Armor sets can be sold between players, i'm ok with that but, generally they sold that for huge ammount of money or other kind of sets, all things i actually don't have, can someone please give me some advices for that? i mean, where i should look for a good looking but quick-to-get set while i work on a far more awesome set?

3) PVE in general, like above, if i want to kill Stormwing or Bakarma to get some weapons, are there people on asmo side willing to party up generally?

4) To get an abyss set, especially the L50 Elite was a pain in the butt, but i saw in chat that are some ppl with HUUUUGE ammount of medal, is there any way besides sieges i can get those quickly?

Yea , right at this moment there are ALOT of droprate issues. for example some instances don't drop the full sets some manastones don't drop well , and some quests are bugged. i guess they are working on it but as far as i know gamez always had droprate issues/Problems.

Well , some people just sell noobish items in broker for a price like 1B for example 100 heal pots for 1B kinah (i dont get why) because they spend more on selling fee then earning something. /care they are just noobs but sometimes u find alot of usefull armors/weapons for a cheap/decent price in brokers , cause gaining kinah is not much of an issue farm elder and grace parts an destroy them into enchant stones and sell the high ones or hunt manastones armors or craft something unique

PVP on gamez gamez is good and active , but to much zergs at the moment but i think they gonna change something about it. because right now if you try to solo you might end up in being killed by 8 people.. no matter what race you are. egt sets are not that hard to get there are alot medals ingame and you can get some for cheap. abyss point rate goes quite fast. even without premium/VIP

THIS. I'm a new player as well, and after reaching 55, which is not that hard to begin with, new players
will ask themselves those questions. (Haven't seen some newstarter guide anywhere yet)

I don't know any "fast" way of obtaining good basic pvp equips, except you go for those two:

1) Either have lots of money and donate to the server. (Which free normal players usually dont go for)
2) Have lots of patience and earn credits by voting. (Which take like... months?)

Often people go along and say something like "This and that is not hard to get by...".
Well, the question is not the difficulty but how do you get them at all/any alternative way?

This is not somekind of whine post, don't misunderstand me. It's just that new players get the feeling
of everyone having their little secrets and not sharing them.

(Someone already told me, that obtaining equips/items is hard... guess it really is)

 

True it is hard to get good weapons and armor but my tips is that, you may want to run instances like Abyssal splinter for armor and weapons until you're able to get better ones. on another tip, players got large amounts of medals from farming them(by making new chars and lvling them up to lvl55) Each time you get a char to lvl 55 you get 10 platinum medals so they just farm them until they get bored. Only true way to get a L55(app) set is by making loads of chars and getting the medals from the chars, and go pvp with crappy gear until you get enough ap to buy each part of the set and weapon.

Easy to get sets: Malika-jotun gear,the easiest,aside of cloth all the other types drop fully. Dont try to hunt beshmundir cause i guess you wont get all your parts. Same goes for anuhart cause dp is ****ed up,marabata can hit you 10k dmg even if u are full abg Q,Q.

Easy to get (2): Abyssal splinter,forgotten abyssal weapons and sets,yamenes weapons. They fully drop,they look great,they are good.

Medals: No there is no way of getting medals,the server will be out of medals soon and thats when they ll open the forts siege again

Sets: ABG = aprox 20-30 egt sets. Masta-MCD-EGT have about the same price,which is 1k vip. Or 1 abg accessory.

Going to instances: Hmm yeah there are people who go to instances,i can even help you if u need anything,lol this is not retail,you can solo bakarma with a cleric,or 1 cleric/1 sin. Etc. Not biggie.

 

Hello there ... I am playing on gamez for aprox 20 days , so there is my point of view

1)Most easy sets to get are anuhart/Jotun OR crafted sets ( not the cloth and leather one, for those you ave to gather tons of mats ). As for weapons, Debilk are the lowest grade I think, and you can find Yammenes/tahabata weapons at the broker

2) This is Thanks to the custom item pack. You can freely trade all lvl 50 gear, but lvl 50++ and PvP gear , also tokens and medals cannot be trade, only with VIP and their custom item.pak. You can find nice armors at broker, but they cost a "fortune" expecially if you came from retail .. prices like 999 999 999 are very common, but don t worry. With Alchemy you can make daily 2 000 000 000 +, so then prices are not problem.

3) Well, world bosses are beiing killed on daily basis, so probly the PvE is ok. I cant tell you about Asmo thou, bcs I play for Elly.


4) Well, for Each lvl 55, you get 10 platinum medals, so farming those is easy. As for Gold medals, you could get them from abyssal splinter (NEED VIP ) or from chest from upper instances ... Personally, I Have farmed Asteria fortress instance for about two days and got aprox 100 Gold Medals just from two chests ... VERY IMPORTANT ... SO far, I haven´t seen a SINGLE Fort siege here, so probly they are not "on" ... from time to time, abyss changed, but it is always equal for Elly and Asmos. But now at Lumiel, All abyss forts are conq by Balaur and also drops are Messed up, so no Keys for abyss chest drops ... well I hope they will fix it soon.

As for gathering abyss sets, I made 2/5 EGT in two days as sorc, som probly it is very easy to get one ....

Hi there and welcome to the server.

1. The best starter set you could get in game is juton/Malika equips and accs. If you play retail I'm sure you're familiar how instances in aion works but in gamez there is no cooldowns and not all items drops also if your VIP you can get into instances without having groups and quest.

2. When I started here for pvp items, I started with silver medals, farmed them then gold then plats. But chest aren't dropping since 2.1 so now you can get plats thru leveling a toon to 55. For gold medals I have no longer any idea where to get them since siege doesn't give any at all and chest can't be looted.

3. AP, best way is using a sorc dp jelly once every 30 mins, find the highest ranked opponent then lb/sb or kaisnel/lumiel's wrath instant 100k AP.

4. Vote at al times, trade creds for good pvp items.

5. Crafting - alchemy and cooking are the best investments.

6. And a LOT of Patience.

Currently weapon drops are very rare ... just w8 for the fix ...

As for a weapon try to go to the main city and guy rental weapon 14 day ... kinah should not be a prolem bcs of hig rates . best weapon while you lvl up
