belief

from my last thread i left the expression as if i need to get a life or something like that, as if i have nobody except net >.> so please without those sarcastic comments, is it true, that if you keep believing in something, will surely come true? ( and anyway i am not talking about dreams of flying and having some kind of super power, i am all serious :3)

 

My answer to your question is this: YEH!

If you believe in something for real, with all your heart then your brain will be your tool in the attempt to make it come true, on way or another it's gonna happen. Maybe it's gonna take some time, longer than you expect it to happen but at the end, if your faith in it will remain strong, you will smile.

 

Not everything will always come true, some things are just out of your grasp and you may never get them. Does this mean you shouldn't try? Nooo, regardless the outcome you should always believe in and work for those things you believe in, so regardless of the outcome atleast you can tell yourself you did your best, and that's what really matters.

On topic: There is nothing impossible for human. People used to say that 'sky is the limit' but look at us, we even travel to the space now

 

Depends on the situation. If you believe you are sick you can actually create the symptoms, including raising temperature, even breakouts. This is why Placebos work, they make you believe they work so they actually do at least symptom wise, this is why you may feel pain medicines work the second you swallow it. If you are also motivated from doing something such as a sport and work on it continuously then you will most likely get better. But you can't just get that from belief.

 

It's very possible that if you wish for something that if will come true, BUT that's only if you work for it with all your might!

Being pragmatical I have to say, if you dont make it happen, its a waste of time to believe in anything.

 

If what you believe doesn't come true,
At least be proud that you had hope and faith in it .

You tried, you worked, you maybe even SACRIFICED for it.
But we're humans, like any other animal, we only live for a limited amount of time.
Have to acknowledge the fact that you don't get everything you want in life, hence why we should prize every opportunity, every chance and everything we get, because we are only provided a few things in life.

At least you hoped for something,
Because without hope, you live for nothing.

yes, i believe this ^^

because of this belief, we think positively and it motivates us. our mind becomes focused and we work towards attaining that goal.
even if something is unattainable something good or sometimes even better things happen.

of course this excludes the lazybums, no matter what they believe, if they just lie on the couch all day, nothing good will happen.

to the ts, you're a very deep person, always making threads like this, but is refreshing to think about this things sometimes
