Is Mr bugged?

It seems like the since hte last few updates my gear slotting isnt worth crap. Ive seen thread about increases classes natural MA, so that they can actually land skills on Non-MR stacked people without stacking Macc. But i mean come on on my cleric 3 weeks ago, with 2.2k MR i resisted so much, didnt get touched by melee debuffs. Now on my chanter with 2.4k+ MR i get hit by it seems like every ankle snare, every debuff you can imagine. i resist the occasional few, but you cant tell me that a sorc without supplication of focus or Magic assist shoudl be hitting me every hit. Maybe if they were macced slotted..but they arent. Fix it please.

MR seems fine, but if you have proof it's off, then report it e.e People always think to seem there's something wrong, but normally they're just slightly paranoid.

 

I also play Retail >> Still am actually.. The formulas are as accurate as possible right now.

 

Good, you won't mind giving retail proof against GamezAion right?

so all you need to do is take a controlled vid, showing your gears in retail, it doesn't matter what level or gear your using you can take it off at least show the stats.

then take a vid also in gamez, with no gear or so, then post it here.

i'm not asking that... the requirements are just naked toons in retail showing the stats... you don't need to have ABG...

 

What does position have to do with anything? o.e I'm a Bug Tester, we're the ones who report the bugs in the first place. So please don't even bring staff position ranking into this.. It's completely irrelevant.

Honestly, that was slightly childish but anyways.. I've already took the time to look into it a little, but it's rather hard considering not everyone sockets MR. So going on, I'll look into it more after our bug report thread is reopened. And I'm not being ignorant in the slightest, just to clear that up.

i have a little MR in my set. and i dont get stunned by chanters much but they always land slow debuff on me. it's SUUUUUPPPERRRR SLOOOOWWWWW ....... -.-

no. chanter has 3 (or 4) slow atk speed debuff (numbing strike is the strongest). they r MA base just like stun effect. but with my MR i can resist about 50% of stun, and only about 10% of those slow atk speed effect. once a time i got 4.8 atk speed with spear my normal atk speed is 1.5

 

I have tested the Magicresist in 2.5 and it was clearly buggy , actually dunno about it now since I rarely log in ..

 

Sometimes I ask myself that too since most of my own thoughts could already been answered by that same exact thought. And then by thinking these thoughts, I can predict the outcome of where my life will lead to and ask myself 'should I go through the struggle?' Then I realised that I myself already am the answer of that thought, I just need to become aware of it.

 

If you don't stack MR you won't know anything. I do and I completely agree with this gentleman's complain. There seems to be a problem with MR. I also understand that proof has to be provided along with your complaints, but for the meantime no one has one yet.
