Wierd effect on my character.

Hello everyone I'm new to both the forums and the game Aion. I'm not sure how it works on retail but after I beat a certain quest I can't even remember the name of the quest. I had this problem this wierd blue and red like buff effect would flow from my character and it is incredible annoying. While it may be annoying I need to know if this is something that happens on retail too or is this some bug or something. I really wish to turn it off because I can barely see my character and when I ask my friends if they can see it they so no. However sometimes when I join the party I see the same effect on both me and them. I can't post a picture as the server is down and I tried searching this on google but I can't be very specific unless I ask it on a forum. Thanks in advanced for any help and I hope it goes away but again if that's just part of the game ill put up with it.

 

could you be talking about the DP divine power? once you hit lvl 10 you start to fill up the bottom bar, and once its totally filled your char will glow blue/orange till you use your DP either by dying or using a skill or doing some crafting, since some does use DP,

 

is it 4000 DP? =)

 

most likely the max DP effect. well .. i wouldnt say its annoying. o.o

 

at times it would be nice to be able to turn the glow off tho, lol just my opinion, lmao

 

Yes it on retail as well look at you hit point and magic point bar there will be a DP bar when that fills up you character will glow certain skills need DP to be able to use them.

 

Haha I seriously know nothing about this game my apologies for my extreme noobness. I understand now that this is a part of the game however does it have to be so bright and it also has clipping issues with the character which makes it looks kinda crappy sometimes like glowing blades are sticking out of your head lol. Is there perhaps a graphics option I can use to turn it off?
