Are Assassins better with Sword/Dagger or Dagger main hand /Sword off hand

 

D/D FTW i used to play S/D thou. i like the faster speed of DD and stuns

i think it all comes down to ur play style and what u like. more attack or more speed.

For pvp server ofc is better two sword,because when you fight against tank with daggers you cant make him a dmg, with swords you have better atack

 

I don't play sin, but:

Offhand weapon doesn't affect speed. So use the most powerful weapon you can get in offhand (you wish sins could use maces.)

Mainhand weapon is used to judge speed, depending on what your attack is, I'd go with dagger.

 

Same here i dont play sin, D at main and S at off hand,imo.

use extending on mainhand ;x... extending got low on stats... 2 option use extending dagger and abg dagger = good accuracy/high speed.. and good crit damge or use extending dagger and abg sword = average damge/average speed /few crits added to mainhand ... dont use extending sword ;x

 

Wrong. If u use S/D ull get the attack speed from the sword. If u use D/S ull get it from the dagger.
For me the best choice is D/S >avarage speed and avarage attack.
S/S low speed good att, D/D good speed low att

 

Please do not use 2 swords, unless you have a ftw ping (stable between 40 and 120)
D/D - High attack speed, kinda low dmg.
D/S - Nice attack speed, normal dmg (if you weave).
S/D - kinda bad attack speed (unless you use candy+Scroll+title), nice dmg.
S/S - Awful attack speed, nice dmg. This one is useless in my opinion

If i were you i'd go D/D if you have the Wings of the Circle conditioned to lvl 1 + Attack speed scrolls (constant Flurry, atk speed capped at 0.8)
If you don't have the WoC then go D/S or S/D.
If you have a ftw ping then try S/S and see how it works out, but beware, if you use 2 ABG swords you'll surely have one sure damn crappy ACC(since they don't have any bonus ACC while the abg daggers gives +1xx, wich is great), a lil bit bad crit (only 50 less) and low atk speed (less weaves).

I use sword/sword to increase chances on temps/glads with either blind or paralyze, not really fail.
