I've been wondering and decided to ask y'all, have you ever felt disconnected from your cultural or racial background? Did you at some point felt more connected to another particular culture or race?

I personally feel quite connected to my cultural backgrounds than I did about 10 years ago. Before I felt very disconnected from my roots, I was born in my country but grew up in the UK, so I didn't really develop the connects. But I also didn't really see myself fit with any other cultural background, even the British culture since I didn't (still don't) talk like an everyday Brit, I even get asked if I am originally from America, a place where I've never been. so I decided to look back into my origins and even took visits to the country, I feel closer to my roots but still there is much to learn about its history.

So, have you felt that way or something similar?

i am not even sure. i dislike too many things in my country, the way people live, the way government leads the country the way it's developing, stupid rules of the law, rules of religion and many other things, but i've never felt like i am disconnected though i am planning to continue my education in uk and work for living there....

I don't feel connected to any cultural or racial background. Most of the culture and traditions relate to a god, hence I don't feel at all connected to it. Nor to superstitions. Also, I just hate my country and the people who live in it that meh...
