Error 1024 Failed to Intilize Aion.

Hey it sucks that I've made two threads and, they've been issues. I'm just not the greatest typist ever, anyways I have dug through the forums just a little bit looking for other posts about this problem because, I don't wanna anger anyone. Now, I did find some threads related to this issue from our server and, other ones. However, all the posts and threads took place a while ago. So, here is my story lol. Basically I've been inactive for about a week or two, and as of recently I've met a bunch of people interested in playing with me. One of them actually already downloaded it and, is waiting for me running around completely lost XD. So when, I went to launch GamezAion I got a pop-up "You must update your NCsoft Launcher for Aion" So I ran the update to 2.0.6.4 I believe and, then started GamezAion. This is where it gets weird. After I clicked "Play Now" from the launcher a pop-up appeared and, before it even became readable it disappeared and, the aion desktop banner appeared then started the game. Afterwards the game started up and stopped at the NCsoft screen, I noticed something wasn't right. Then the game crashed and, I got this error. Now, I've tried many different "Solutions" to solve this issue from other posts and, what I know from other errors. Now, here are the things I have done:

• Reinstall game from a fresh download.
• Update and, repair.
• Switch language setting in NCsoft launcher.
• Save texture files and, dll files from older version. UPDATE then paste over new ones.

1. Also, other stupid "Solutions" that didn't work, and aren't worth mentioning.
   
   
   Anyways if anyone knows how to fix this let me know :3 ​

In your NcSoft Launcher Segttings make sure your:
Region: North America
Languaje: English

 

Did you installed item.pak? Beware that you have installed it in aion/data/USA/items and not in aion/data/items. i had the same problem, i replaced original files, installed item.pak in the right folder and it worked

try to do a deinstall of aion and remove the gamez launcher after u have installed aion install the gamez launcher and start it, make sure ur starting as an admin if ur run Vista or Win7 if u dont get an error u can apply the items.pak u want to use
altho u want to make sure ur directX and graphics card drivers are up to date

altho ive searched the official aion forums about his problem and it seems to be an installation error
2 things u can do Delete everything compensated with aion including the NCsoft launcher
then download the ncsoft launcher from the official aion website and install it
if u decide to install it as europe make sure after instalation u changed the region setting s in the launcher and change ur aion`s Folder name form AionEU to Aion
then start the launcher it should automaticly find an NA version of aion and see if it needs to be updated if so do the update after all u have installed correctly try to run aion through the official launcher if the games starts without any error it should work properly
and i it does u can start installing the GamezLauncher and Items.pak and u will be able to kill ur opposite faction again
once again goodluck
