PVP stat..

sorry for being a noob but can i ask if how do PVP stat work? i've been playing all this time but it's just today that this simple question popped up into my head.. more importantly the def, how much dmg is reduced when i have 22% PVP def? thnx

but basically, it's a 22% off of your total damage received.

 

Eh i said that it blocks 22% of the total dmg recived . You got 22% pvp defence you'll get less 22% dmg from evry single hit that you recive .

I dont have this covered by retail, ut I think it works like this :


In PvP, Your basic dmg is reduced by 50% .... therefore for every 1% of PvP defense ... you will reduce one percent more dmg ,

So witouth gear you reduce 50% dmg in PvP ... Wit lets say 19% pvp deff, you reduce dmg done to you by 69% ...


Please notice that dmg is always affected by defense, emenetal defene and so on . thi is just "theoretical" reduce ...


But PvP attack i VERY interesting ...


As I have said before, dmg you deal in pvp is reduced by 50% ... T. means that f.e. if you do 10 000 dmg with skill on mob, you deal 5000 dmg on player ... now if you have 10% PvP attack ... the reduction is decreased by 10% so only 40% dmg reduction
BUUUUUT in fact .. you have reduced the PvP "defense" by 20%, cuz 10% from 50% is 20% .. that means your dmg wil go up by 20% !!!! ..

I know it sounds chaotic, by I think it works like this ...


Sum Up ... Basic dmg reduction in pvp 50%
For every 1% pvp defense, you reduce 1% more ..
For every 1% PvP attack, your Dmg in PvP Increases by 2%

PvP defense is almost everytime overpowered by pvp attack ... but PvP deff is a MUST .. unless you want a glady hit you for 100% dmg he does in PvE


But something tells me it doesn t work this way
