After a new issue occuring lately, I figured what's the problem - morphing = crafting. It takes the same time as a craft (more that normal for morphing) and can fail. This is wrong, morphing is converting, its "Converting" time is 3 seconds, and it cannot fail. Please look into the bug and solve it.

I've never had a fail in morphing and i hope i wont, in the future. But i find it more likely for ppl to fail, since crafting/gathering is buged at the moment. So, no suprise if morphing is bugged too.

And yes, i hope they fix the morphing time!

Yes,it does!! I came from retail about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and the morphing time difference was noticable! Also i disabled my Ninja Idle motion, as the toon was flipping right before the morphing ended, and thus was breaking it.

if Isin says morph failed him 20x in a row... Then my plan and time of farming balaur mats and buying em is wasted since I can't craft them... too scared to even try.

Failed once in 60 here, but it was enough for me to figure what the bug's core is. Morphing =/= crafting. Nough said.

i morphed a bunch of shit 2 days ago and i think i failed 3 morphs max so that isn't really an issue to me. The fact that it takes a godforsaken long time for 1 morph to finish even though the gauge is full is.

Third time saying it - it's under a common denominator.

People would be lying if they said morphing never fails here.

I've noticed that "morphing" was modeled after "crafting" (or vice versa), because they both use a Fail/Success meter for every try.
(Heck you even gain "Skill Exp" and "Skill Level Increase" when your character first tries to morph some stuff)

The "pause" encountered after the bar fills is the Fail/Success meter in action (even if you can't see it).

Not at all mate. Even though morphing is in the same section as crafting, these 2 have nothing to do with each other; its totally different thing. To craft, you need to be on the crafting area, using the crafting bench, and you can have greater outputs. Plus crafting has levels (Novice,Expert,Artisan, Master), while on the other hand, you can morph everywhere,as long as you have DP and Aether. Maybe programmers put its on the same "section" for convinience as they both have to do with materials! So morphing doesnot have the "fail/success" meter on its source. Otherwise, we would also have greater outputs like in crafting...but we dont :p :p

The "pause" you're saying, is not the Fail/Success. When i was playing in retail, morphing stoped when the bar was full (with no delay), and 2 years there, never failed on morphing. Here, in the private, the "pause" is perhaps a programming glitch, or conflict with something else. And like i've said in a previous post, gathering/crafting are buged at the moment. Maybe morphing is buged too! We'll see when they fix it.

Have a nice day guys :) (at least here in Greece, its morning :p)
