What if you DONATE and THIS happens?

I am getting really desperate now (& kinda pissed-off too), i worked on this char for months & as it turned to be just the way i wanted, THIS happened:
(and keeps happening every time i try to login, don't tell me to repair aion client, request unstuck & stuff.. i already done more than that)
Normally i get disconnected immediately but this time there was lag & i was able to open profile & every item showed in there, BUT THE CHAR ITSELF WASN'T THERE, that may be the reason the char can't log-in LOL.!

This char is the Brigade General of a 89-man Legion & has all my Kinah & stuff i need & Leg.members need & Premium & superb items, all that i can't even access now.!)
WILL THE ADMIN OR> SOMEONE WHO CAN, HELP ME? i was planning to donate for some items for THIS CHAR, but how can i trust donate now, with chars disappearing out of the blue & EVERYONE IGNORING MY CALL FOR HELP..!

Try downloading the new item.pak, I had a simialr error where I logged on 100% fine, no issues! Loaded character selection... the map screenshot loaded just fine... then the ingame layout loaded and the bakcground of the scene and my char and.. BOOM! instant crash.

Tried reloading many times and just gave the same error, got the brand new item.pak and it worked like a charm.

I'm not saying this is the solution for sure, but it helped me in a similar situation.

 

OMG YES I DID..like 5 times , as you can tell the char is in POETA , already 'saved' & moved there.!!!!!!!

BTW, there is NO CRASH in this one, the char just can't get online & game disconnects without any crash.

Thnx or the suggestion :sideways: , only if you could post a link to that brand new items.pak i could try it , there are so many of such 'new items.pak' posts in the forum that i probably couldn't pinpoint the .pak you mean..

If nothing works , can at least some GM transfer the items in that char to another one , so i can delete & re-make it

If you have tried all the possible ways to fix this problem but still doesn't work and if this only happens to this character then it might be a problem on the server side?

Devs GMs pls help this guy.

Yes it is definitely a server-side problem because, now.. for a short time before the last crash, as the server was half-crashed & TP & some mobs didn't work my char initialized ..as if nothing happened..could walk around,everything worked (except TP) but after the server went back up , it returned to the bugged state..this seems to be because of some patch or something the server normally is running, it stopped just before the crash & the char came back..I'm certain now that its server side.
I really don't know what to do..any ideas?

 

Theres also a new launcher installer which is much better, just updated a couple days ago. Do an update to 1.9.0.3 / repair and restore to retail and install the new launcher.

The new launcher does not contain any modified aion files which we found in the old one so it was removed for copyright issues and updated. New one is like 1.3 mb.

You may have to edit your system.ovr to correct g_freefly = "1".

If your still having problems I'll look into it for you but 90% of the time this kind of error is client side issues.

Is this answer meant for me? What does all this have to do with g_freefly = "1" ?!? . I am positive that this is a server-side problem, i already did what you proposed,(& others proposed too including the 'have you tried unstuck request'.. LOL) this char of mine represents ALL my effort done on this server, it not only has Premium it has all the credits i earned..you guys HAVE TO help me , because it is NOT a client sided error & i am not DUMB to be hooked on something trivial, the char went back to normal just before the server crashed remember? that might be a clue what is causing all this.

 

I did a quick skim, did the try Zero suggestion about updating/repair your client, then download new launcher?
