race favoritism..

lately im planning to change my race from elyo to asmo. don't know if Im just the one who noticed it but seems like a lot in gamezaion even some gms are more in favor of asmos. even the influence ratio always in favor to them even elyos are outnumbered by asmos population. im not saying influence rate is base on that but there is however a connection. influence rate has additional pvp stats right and that was a big deal. and even on events i notice some gms not only underestimate elyos they also give an advantage to the oposite race. thats why i am not amaze when there are a lot of cheater asmos than elyos because they have a wall to lean on. isnt it wonderful to have a fair server..

Influence rate... if you have LOW influence will give you + pvp damage buff.

But high influence was never given a bonus... that is almost anti-productive if you think of it. Especially for what it was meant for, for balancing out the races say elyos had 1000000 players and asmodians had 1000... then the asmodians with a LOWER ratio would get a pvp buff to compensate... (althyough the finer details of medals, pvp and overall happiness is hard to quite say this works/doesnt work for their favor... some say its perrfect, others say its a bad bandaid)



And I don't think GM's are hosting more events for asmodian side... last time I checked both sides get evented pretty well.



But more further... if you do legitimately believe that a GM is providing issues/unfair treatment then I'd PM Alente about it WITH PROOF >.< that proof thing is pretty importaint.

 

yeah i know and thanks for that, but i cant provide a proof right now. because its all base from my experience in gamez and it is all random. maybe just don't close your mind about this topic. i appreciate your immediate response.

but a pvp buff is under or like a pvp bonus right?

 

i mean sometimes a buff still remains a buff even a player died then resurected. how long it stays active anyway?

Measures have been taken all across the history of Gamez to prevent favoritism, and I've been a AM before so I've seen first hand how ridiculous these assumptions can be.

If you have proof of a specific GM showing favoritism, then please, by all means, show it, but don't just spew out baseless, general accusations of the staff as a whole.

P.S. - An old AM named Bones at one point tried to port Asmodians into Sanctum. You know what happened? He was banned within 30 seconds of the first Asmodian appearing in Sanctum and shortly thereafter banned from all of Gamez. Website, Forums, game, AM access removed, etc.

 

ftr, ely are bigger in population than asmo. count the ely in inggison zerging +g heiron also zergin+sanctum dueling :3

 

there are people saying that from asmo side too.. i think, the fairness is just fine between races.. just sayin..

 

If this is true it's never once effected me so I don't think it's a problem...

 

yeah i knew you lucent you were a gm before. well im glad a lot were already aware of it. in my opinion here im talking about my experiences in gamez but now that aegis and you had mentioned it already. dont worry if ever my eye caught by something again i will report with a proof directly to aegis thanks anyway to both of you mod aegis and prev gm lucent.

 

i just brought this out guys for all not just for mine. ;p you see a lot of elyos because our fort is near there. but in pvp elyos are often outnumbered. you cant base it just on how many are online on a certain 1 or 2 days ;p

 

All in all, Aion isn't all too great at being balanced with who is what race. Its so easy to just make a new character here and have everything your old character has, so theres nothing really keeping people from staying their current race if they don't like how its going.

Because of that and the way Aion is made, there will always be more of one race than the other and people will continuously join the better race making sides more uneven

It sometimes may seem like AMs are showing too much favor to one side but the entire staff system is built around avoiding that, so next time you get irritated at how well the other side is doing, just blame it on the cowards from your race that couldn't handle being a part of the tough side and flocked to join the easy one

elyos are greater in population tahna asmos.. as far as i know from past to present.......

asmodians have a higher population than elyos? i highly doubt it, idk where have you been pvping or you probably have been very unlucky to encounter a bigger asmodian zerg than your own, but elyos are indeed many more than the asmodians, wherever i go, i find huge zergs and i only go with 1 group, sometimes 1 and a half and they always bring 30+ people to bring us down.

 

Why elyos convert to asmos is because of the strategic map advantage of asmodians, easy pvp, easy solo, easy ap. Inggison and heiron good for pvp because inggi have lots of windstreams and heiron dont have limited pvp location. Unlike beluslan there are what you call bad rift and good rift. And in gelk asmodians only gather infront of a fortress their zerg just wait for elyos to come

anyway.. elys have they working geysirs to go tru first gates on gelkmaros.. on inggison that geysir wasnt even work..

elys can go main fort in gelkmaros legal way..ofc you need know how..
but asmos cant go inggison main fort. legal way wasnt work.(atleast the one i know).

and abaut windstream.. elys have they windstreams longer and more windstreams on same places.. but they have more clifts and mountains on inggison than gelk..

heiron-beluslan.. hmm.. wasnt really mater its easy to travel bouth maps.. but yeah need to know ways over mountains etc.. not that hard really. its just abaut you knowledge how to travel places.. + anyway elys zerging more on heiron than asmos on beluslan..

 

ähmmm influence ratio, has nothing to do with how many players are on each side, but how many Fortresses ur faction has. (if u have all the abyss then u have a higher influence ratio. (when u have 70 or 75% of the abyss the other faction who just have 25% will get a bonus PVP buff)

 

lol they say theres no favoritism, however elyos are banned without video proof, asmo accused hackers are given am status. Also for events, I hear when asmoes win they sometimes get stormwings gear, elyos just get candy.. lol Of course there are some GM's who are fair, like puddles, not the ones who were asmoes hacking away ... just saying these are things that Ive heard
