About Beshmundir Temple and Stormwing

Hi all, the first question is:
-why Stormwing drops only Vorpal Jewel, Vorpal Turquoise Earring and Vorpal Corundum Earring?
14 quests are needed, no problem 'cause we have done them all...but we haven't done 14 quests for 2 earring and 1 weapon..what's the problem about that? o.o
The second one is:
-is "hard-mode" working in this server? that should explain why Stormwing drop these few items on normal mode.

Cause someone is smart and greedy enough to make we all donate in order to get good stuff. They could fix drops in 1 hour if they'd wish, but they won't, as long as they get a buttload of money from donations.

 

Beshmundir isn't fully working on this server at the moment, meaning some of the drops are missing and this is applied to the way bosses act and so on(missing skills). In Beshmundir Temple you can only get some Beshmundir pieces and Flarestorm items (I believe only Spirit Master set is complete).
About the "hard-mode", it isn't working yet either so you cannot switch between the two difficulties.
All I can suggest is for you to wait for further updates on Beshmundir Temple.

The drops are all fixed in the test server. everything works drop wise, but they are removed here so you can only get them through special donations.. thats your answer.

 

Í understand why master stuff and abg stuff they will never release to us, why they keep it credits only.. But seriously, the rest of eq ? why the heck are they hiding it that much?? Like lets say Stormwing set, Even if whole server had it, EVERYONE would keep going for abg since thats the best one for pvp,,.. Seriously i dont even bother logging in game with this messed up drops... its so annoying that such a simple thing takes forever to recover... Even if it wasnt simple make drops ur nr 1 on list "what to fix" and u wouldnt see the threads like this!

 

I have doubts with this, since SW gears are in event shop, what backstell said. so why put SW gears to Stormwing when it will lose $$$$$??

 

Well it is annoying how things are drop wise but alot of the players on this server don't care/ don't bother saying anything over these matters and the amount of people donating for that same gear is high enough to keep the good income I'd say, so even if some say it's unfair or greedy or w/e you want to call it, it won't be enough so you can only wait for something to be done and use what you can now. :sad:

About the topic well I'd suggest you do other dungeons like Udas or Dark Poeta until there is further fixes in Beshmundir.

 

Well I'm not really saying that they will implemented further on I'm just stating the current status of Beshmundir like the person who started the thread asked...

 

Sadly, this is how it really goes here. Impossible to change as making things rare helps the server to get more donations which keeps the server running whenever the Special Shop is open. But there is something valuable that Stormwing Drops, which is the Vorpal Essence. If you like to get Siel's Dominant Weapons remodel, you need that item to complete the quest. I did the Stormwing Chain Quests because of those items which are good for weapon remodels. In my opinion, it was worthy Also, as what others said, Siel's Dominant weapons were actually the weapons that fits best to combine with world bosses drop weapons like Padmarashka or Sematariux so it's not really just for remodeling purposes

 

agreed, but what tiring in that quest is when you go UT killing crappy healing mobs. you will go in and out there about 25 times?

 

No, not really. As far as I remember, doing the quest you just need to kill the listed healing mobs inside Udas Temple. They are many inside so you really don't have to re-enter. For one run you can finish the quest.

To make sure if I am following the same page of the book, were you talking about the quest for Noxallon Ingot [Group] Heal Me, Kill Me?

Yup. :3 I did the Dominant quest, and its not bugged. ^^ got my <Siel's Dominant Spellbook> <3.

 

I wish stormwing armor dropped. Sexy uncommon remodel.

I believe only macunbello drops SW armor,,,

this is what makes the SW set the rarest gear from patch 2.0 until this very day

 

Devs are trying to fix the drops afaik. If you don't know Macunbello drops all types of gloves[eternal ones - Stormwing's Gloves, Stormwing's Vambrace, Stormwing's Handguards, Stormwing's Gauntlets].

 

On every server i played all drops were working and on one server it didn't i only had to give the developer the item codes from aiondatabase and voila, 5 minutes later there was a server restart with items added. From what i've seen it takes little to no work to fix it. It's broken on purpose.

 

Let me guess?the power of $_$. uhmm. Maybe if someone would donate huge amount of money that would cover all the people playing in this server, maybe they will add SW eternal items.LOLOL
