Time to put some serious consideration in building my own rig.

Definitely have to invest in a new monitor and a SSD, the rest can be sorted out as I go.

Anyone have a good build? Grabbed this off a site, they explained pretty well, so I stuck to em.

Pricey, good thing I just got my consoles for gaming. Not a hug fan of gaming on PCs but that does look fancy to have.

I'd like to have something big that I can keep using for a long period of time without outdating itself.

    it's 4 cores, 8 threads. 2 threads each core.

Intel I7 is indeed a lot faster than amd x6 but much more expensive. amd like ghost option above, gives more bang for a buck. i7 is an overkill but well good for those who can afford them.
