If things that couldnt be, were.
Does that change the fact that the possibilities of judging a thing is impossible, be impossible since it is believed that all things are possible?

Would it be wrong to consider everything possible?
Or is it just the fact that we have not yet experienced or witnessed it make it seem impossible?

i didnt really understand the question. but, i dont think its wrong to consider everything possible, couse sometimes thinking like this can bring some advantages.

Could you give me an example and elaborate on it ? o:

 

doctors thinking that medicine can save any1 sometimes make miracles, while a doctor who thinks a patient cant be cured wont do anything or will do it but he will fail.

i really hate it when people say "nothing is impossible" well id like to see you jump of a tall building and survive, id like to see a fetus function an f16 jet. id like to see a 3 year old eat the sun. id like to see a guy with plainsman jerkin gear on and defeat a zerg of fully abg people in a second. id like to see humans taking out their brain and surviving without it. see there are things that are impossible, i dont see us getting wings and flying around like aion chars on speed.

actually, there is a man who jumped from an airplane. his parachute didnt work so he just continued to go down. when he hit the ground he didnt die, doctors say that there was some kind of unnatural phenomenon which stopped his fall. when they asked the man what he did before crashing (he went unconscious before hitting the ground) he just answered " i knew i couldnt die, i have too many things left to do in my life, guess everything is possible with a bit of faith"

I'm not going to reply to all of those (some of them are ridiculous anyway) but for the first, impact resistant padding and a soft, flexible landing pad. The way you say it makes it seem impossible, but with the way technology grows every day, less things become impossible. If those scientists thought it was impossible, it would always be, but creativity, determination and faith open doors to a new world. You should read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury (mightve misspelled that) and see how magical and impossible computers seemed, it was merely a dream of a future at the time the book was written, and now look at our technology.

 

Also adding to Shaikan's doctor example, you can say the same for patients. It's called the placebo effect. Doctors sometimes give patients a pill to take that is nothing more than sugar. They don't tell this to the patient, but because the patient BELIEVES they're taking medicine, they get better (not to say this always works or that it's a cure, but the simple power of believing in medicine can be as great as medicine itself.

 

desire, knowledge and will to do something - you will be successful in almost everything ! it's literally impossible to do impossible but if you try hard, you may do at least half of it :3

Sometime ago I was reading about light behavior... and the whole thing keep me zombie state for a few days considering the actual meaning of what I read. Light comes to us as a white ray, in the theory of addition of colors, the sum of all colors gives white. So all the other colors are just decompositions of white... To this point is all pretty well know. However, the things begin to complicate when you understand that objects have material properties that absorb and reflect light... so when an object recieves a white light ray, depending on its properties, it will absorb everything except the blue spectrum, and you ll see the object as "blue"... question: The object is "blue"? Or our eyes "see" it as blue? This question is problematic because if our eyes are seeing it blue, then it means that our brain interpretates it as "blue" but it could also mean that we are not seeing what we are actually seeing, but something that is formed by our subjective, unreliable brain... we can go further and say: Is this world I am seeing the real one, or an intepretated one?

What is posible and imposible maybe exists only in our minds after all. How we interpretate our reality, and how we move around it. I am not denying the laws of physics, if someone falls from a plane 99.999999% of the times he/she will die. Our bodies do not have plasma conduits to shot fireballs either, but we can imagine it and consider it regardless if its imposible or not, and I think thats the real beauty of it.
