Solution for crashes

i have to agree with the majority on this matter; with Carl being the only person who can restart or fix an issue that is causing the server to not perform adequately. This server needs to have someone available to handle problems that may occur . Therefore Carl should designate some of his responsibility to someone who is already on the staff.This would help tremendously and keep a lot of people from complaining about nothing be done . Also a hardware upgrade is most certainly in order.:rightful:

hmm.. maybe donations arent that good enought for them to put another techie staff with them that can fix server downtimes..

 

It would also be awesome if could actually know when server is down.
Other servers has resver status indication on their website, why dont we have?

Albull said that ppl would keep clicking refresh like crazy and website would crash. Maybe you could try to trust players...
not all of them arre so bumb. and other websites dont crash..

 

this has already been discussed, the problem is, that carl doesnt know who he can trust with the power of the server,

they did have the server status at once point, and the website did crash

you kidding me? there are few guys i know that paid 1k ++ $ each ... not to mention hundreds of ppl who donated "small ammounts" 20-500 $

the solution is : Carl should give access at server to someone , then the crash problem at least would be solved

Last week on short :

- no updates
- daily crash - 4-5 hours each crash at least
- massive lag
- dupers were not punished even when i had proofs
- donation items dissapearing cause of the crashes and no one cares
- etc ...

 

hmm.. if they got enough donations, why would the server crashes anyways.. x.x

then those donations should be enough for the stability of the server..x.x

and hiring someone would cost them another.. x.x

 

Items gone .. not even today i didn t get them ...

 

then if carl doesn't know who to thrust and who not he should be more active..i mean he can manage the server and when it's off we have to w8 for him like 5-7 hours every day..

I actually did register in order to make that suggestion, right now the website is just a big lump of plain text and of course the "donate" and "vote reward" buttons, Instead of keeping plain old text there, why not make it bit more interactive ?

For example add that Server online / offline notification there, also you could add the forum feed (latest forum posts) to main site, then there is the "staff members" list and means to contact them (There are server developers no ?) Perhaps even server updates and TODO list, future upgrades and so on ? That would show community that you actually trying to improve the server.

 

Ok guys can you stop with . OMg server down GO outside .. Go have a real life .. go with friends .. this is all you can say and 80% only talk . but not even you guys don t have that life .. is not you'r problem what the other do with his own life .. .

it does not matter that this subject was talked about if there was no solution to the problem. Carl has to trust someone and if not then he needs to take a serious look at himself and where the problem really lies.yes there are many people who would donate large sums of $$$ to help, all Carl would have to do is announce a sale on gear for the purpose of upgrading server hardware and batta bing he would get the $$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this Carl has a life .. how many people say ... if he has friends .. why he is not give the restart acces to someone of his friends .. someone near him .. someone who can stay in fron of pc for 5 min to press some buttons to restart the server.....
