Server Lag / Downtime (Crash) - Updated 11/08

well alente said something would happen in at most 3 days:sideways:. other then that, it does suck but i dont think people here are ass-kissing (i mean, nobody would be stupid enough to believe they get free items from that, right?).

 

having more permissions wont help anything if the GM/Admin isn't around the physical location of the server, if it has to be hand re-booted

 

i hope other player will have a great patience on this kind of problem that arises every night..cuz other of my friends are switching to other servers already.. i fell sad for it..

 

No we don't get paid. We volunteer our time.

Carl's not on vacation, or if he is he's still been online because I've worked with him online and talked to him every day.

Hopefully moving to the new core will fix the server hanging. There's a memory leak in the old version of AU we were using or one of the updates to it. We should be moving over tonight or tomorrow. I recommended tomorrow so I would have more time for testing and to tweak a few things and also so I could be available for the changeover.

I greatly prefer this server to retail.

Sure it has it's problems, I can GUARANTEE YOU that all Private Servers have problems though.

So... Just wait it out, things will get better.

 

please make the server more comfortable to play, make some 3x a day server re boot..

On a serious note
I've only been playing here for about a week and that is the longest I've stayed on an Aion server, including retail, so I believe this is a truly decent server and the few crashes I've been through aren't enough to change that.

Well, good luck with the server and its' problems. Though be careful, I've seen a server (different game) that started with these kinds of problems. Then other pservers became dirty competitive @_@ and started using black propaganda. Then kaput, server closed. Haha. I hope your problems get fixed asap. We don't want any server closing as a final act to end all problems, don't we? :>

If you enjoy playing on a server that crashes everyday and stays down for 1-4 hours, you have low standards. Fuck only reason I'm still here is because I have invested the past month into this server and I'm waiting to see if the new update will fix it. If it doesn't I'm fucking out of here.

 

Well the daily crashing is a recent thing probably due to an update to the old AU source.

The new core is much more stable and optimized not to mention your getting like 150 or more quests/ fixes etc. along with some other improvements. =p

Just wait it out guys, Trust me. Sooner or later the server will be on. Just take some moment to spend time with your REAL FRIENDS and your family or maybe go out and have some fresh air. If waiting is the only problem with this server than i am so cool with it. Wait it out guys~ We can kill asmo later
