GamezAion Launcher Not Working

when launching the gamezaion launcher it errors with 'gamezaion launcher has stopped working' and with options 'check online for a solution and 'close the program'

its working fine yesterday. i reinstalled but same thing. looks like theres a probelm with server or something as it says 'contacting' in server status

could be just the patch server, u can always try run the game with the bat file launcher that one will never give u errors

the bs that usually makes u download the items.pak and what not, its a part of the gamez launcher and it checks with it when u open it

save this as a .bat file and put it in ur gamez aion folder, then run it, itll start the game

you won't see the bct if you use the batch file. and maybe some other missing parameters.

 

there arent any i dont use the console ones coz the console has been disabled (along with the system.ovr). it has all the requirements to connect to our server with no errors (for as long as the actual server is online)

this 1 has all of them since ur so picky, but telling u they wont do anything

 

My friend has this issue also, right now he's repairing via the NCSoft launcher, I'll tell you if this works.

Apparently the bat file didn't work.

 

Happened to me few minutes ago but the bat file fixed the problem. Follow the instructions posted above and it should fix the problem.

 

How is one supposed to 'run' this .bat file, if the file we download... is a .txt ? Pretty sure my notepad isnt going to help me run my Aion.

 

no lol, just coz its editable in notepad doesnt mean its a txt file, bat files run through command prompt (like old dos games) and it will start ur normal aion client. just change the file extension from .txt to .bat if u made it urself or download the real bat file

 

He did download the .bat file, but it saved as a .txt. He doesn't understand how to run it. Try to explain it a little better, for a beginner basically.

 

I know we are both speaking english here, but i have no idea what you are saying =) I'm not exactly all that computer literate, does it show? teehe

 

lets try it this way xD
1. copy paste the code to notepad
2. save as shown in the screenshot, in the save as type line, change txt to "all files" and make sure the filename ends with .bat, that will make it the right format. save it in your gamez aion folder



3. run it
