Mmkay, now I know there are quite a few topics about donations and suggestions to improve them. While this topic may be relevant to them in some way or another I figured it would be best to make a topic as it is different.

To start, I have previously been a GM, Donations GM, Senior GM, and Admin of a World Of Warcraft private server. How does this relate? It's simple, I have had experience with what sells I thought I could give a bit of advice on a few things that could increase donations.

    1. Item Bundles for a special bundle price.

Such as the Level 55 PvP set. As of currently it would take 100 days of voting (50 credits per 12 hours x2=100 a day. Each piece is 2,000 credits) twice a day to get enough credits to buy the said armor, or $100.00 USD. A weapon would add another 20 days or $20.00 USD. My advice for this would be to make a 5 or 6-piece set bundle which would include a 5-piece level 55 set and a weapon of their choice if a 6-piece set is chosen. You could price this at $50-70.00 USD. While it is true you'd be making less in donations as you would per donations for credits, it is a strong possibility more would be willing to donate if this were an option. Now I know it's supposed to be a 'donation' and one shouldn't expect something from it, but if that were the case many wouldn't donate as when they do they want to get something in return. You could even do a Miscellaneous Items Bundle of 3 Accessory Items of a persons choice. This is rather easy to accomplish by just sending them a Paypal or WU Invoice.

    2. Donating for Kinnah

Not as big of a deal here and I can understand why it wouldn't be offered as it would have a chance of causing the game's economy to change. Why I am suggesting it is because Kinnah is a very big part of the game. Mainly in obtaining items that are much needed. If you look at Broker prices for example an item of Anuhart Cleric's Mail Gloves. The price is anywhere from 40million-100million. That much personally is more than I have ever had and my account is Premium. It might be helpful and would likely get more donations if donating for Kinnah was also an option. $1.00 for 3 million Kinnah or something of the sort.

    3. Donations GM's

This one is a larger deal in my opinion. With Paypal it's easy to set up view only accounts that can view transactions that have gone through or not. With those trusted you can grant them access so that they can grant the donator the credits(or items.)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now the above is just my personal suggestion for ways to increase donations towards the server and they are more than open to comments of anyone. It also gives more of a choice over just donating to obtain credits which can only be used for the items on the list.

If any help is needed for the following I'd be glad to help with advice of my own personal experience with handling donations. I might add more later should I come up with more ideas. Thanks for reading and again any comments are appreciated!

I think they do, but it's just a matter of 'selling' the ideas to them. :)

First off, thank you for making this thread. its nicely written and has some good ideas.
now the bundle idea isnt half bad, might work for the better or for the worst .
I did like the kinah for donations part only :
    1) it should be called kinah for credits IMO
    2) maybe 100 credits for 3b lol

    :)
