exact error you get? or maybe you're stucked.

 

hes gonna have to give more detail but dont think it will be stuck chars. usually its just 1 and he listed all of them

 

to eliminate some factors go to the servers website eg. www.gamezaion.com, Welcome to Crystal Aion - Aion Private Server, then log in, once you are logged in go to your user CP and click Ban system. This will show if you have been banned or not and the reason. If not, make sure your aion client is updated in NCsoft Launcher. If you still have issues, try repairing your aion client in the NCsoft Launcher, if you still have issues an AM will have to help you

 

Step 1) Give us a detailed explanation please , do you get an error message outside the game? inside the game? And if yes , what does it say exactly?

Step 2) Log on www.gamezaion.com (or crystalaion.com if you're from crystal) and check your Ban System. If there is nothing there , it means you are not banned (Unless you were multivoting , in that case you get banned by Carl and there is no Ban listed in the Ban System , you cannot appeal it in any way). If it says "You cannot access the game through this IP. (22)" it means you are banned.

Step 3) Make sure your client is up to date , we recently updated the server to 2.6. To update your client , use the NCSoft launcher (Make sure the Language and the Region are Set to English/North America also).

Step 4) Make sure you have the latest Gamezaion(or crystalaion) Launchers installed in the correct location.

Step 5) Make sure you have the latest DirectX/Graphic Card Drivers installed.

Step 6) Make sure you have .NET Framework 4 installed. (You can download it from here)

There also is a possibility for your character to be stuck for some reason. If after doing all of the above did not help , your character(s) is/are probably stuck. In this case , you'll have to log on gamezaion.com (or crystalaion.com) and click on the Character Unstuck Request from your User Control Panel and NOT try to log in with that character until the server restarts once. (It restarts daily as far as i know). If you try to log in before the server has restarted , you will cancel the character unstuck process.

If after doing that your character(s) will still be stuck , try posting in the Official Unstuck Request Thread about it so they try to unstick your character manually.

Note also that every 7-month inactive account is deleted. (You said it was a 3-Months break , so i guess you're alright)

ps: I almost forgot to mention about this. Some people are having net issues and for some reason cannot connect to the server using the common launcher. You can try downloading the .bat launcher instead from www.gamezaion.com/GamezAION.rar (CrystalAION.rar if for crystal) , it works just like the gamezaion/crystalaion launcher , place it in the same location the other launcher is.

About the repair part , well.. if he could play before it means his region is fine. If he cannot play now , and if he is not banned , i guess he just needs to update , and by updating it will repair his client automatically , right? anyways thanks!

About the directX
Basically , i should ask what his operating system is windows 7 can take directx11 i was told while vista/xp can't.

I had a question btw, is it true that if you use DirectX 9 your graphics will not be that cool but you will lag less? I was told the last directXs got awesome graphics but they require a better graphic card etc.

 

actually theres a difference between repair and update
update - overwrites older files with newer ones
repair - checks all the other files that update ignores to see if they r corrupted or not, if they r it redownloads them, if they r fine it leaves them

only the newest graphics cards r capable of running directx 11 so it does nothing for most people. vista/win7 come with directx10 by default which is too new and the game thinks u dont have any at all (aka why even the oldest games can seriously lagg on lowest settings, it doesnt know how to render graphics without the right directx). win xp has directx 9 by default but for a lot of people its too old (tells them u need newer than june 2008). directx 10 has been modified to be able to run on xp as well

point being, the game needs the right version of directx 9.0c to run has to be recent enough, having just newer version means nothing. installing 9.0c doesnt overwrite the one u have, it merely adds the necessary files needed to render the games built on it ^^

edit: as for ur question, some games r built to be compatible with more directx versions but u have to specify which one u wish to use. dragon age 2 is a perfect example, it asks whether ud like directx 10 or 11, my card isnt 11 capable so i had horrible lagg with those settings coz it didnt know how to render graphics, when i switched to 10 it was perfectly smooth

the game has to be designed for it for u to be able to take advantage playing old games with directx 11 (and dx11 graphics card) wont make them look any better coz they werent coded on it. they will run on older directx that they were coded on

Then you most likely got banned for multivoting. (Voting with Multiple accounts , voting more than once per 12 hours).
In this case , there is no way i can help you in - i am sorry. The ban is permanent.

Now if you have not multivoted or anything and you believe the ban was a mistake , or if you got accused of hacking/bugging/scamming and got banned for it and believe the ban was unfair or something , try contacting the HGM Alente(www.forum.gameznetwork.com/members/alente) , perhaps he can help you on that subject.

Also , where do you play Aion at? An internet cafe or at home?
