Aion is an underrated game.

I also think that Aion is underrated... Because if we talk about games...

I just downloaded WoW before 10 mins... [Private server]...

Maximized graphics = Aion's minimal graphics = 13 fps

Aion on minimal graphics = 130 fps...

LOL Seriously ppl play that sh!t? XD

Edit: i dont think its totally wrong what i'm saying though. Because there are many other big / populair mmorpgs out there it makes aion less appreciated.

 

Yeah, so if there wasn't better and more popular games out there, aion would totaly be the best and deserve all the appreciation. I get ur point. it's so solid I could smash rocks with it.

Well i never played rift. As about the game being advanced , yeah i know , i'm just saying , if they would put that much effort to make it free & like it is now
Now about WoW , it's overrated , it is not a good game at all lol , just famous i'd say.. idk.
Now about star wars o.o well.. i never played such thing , i laughed cause star wars is uhm.. a bit too childish in my opinion :x

Now about quitting due to the retail rates due to the laziness.. uhh , you got a point , but then again.. some people quit private servers because they are buggy , etc.

anyways , not a subject i care about lol.

 

Aion isn't underrated as a game in my opinion, the real problem I see with Aion is that it's like almost any other Korean MMORPG but with simply pretty graphics which is the separating factor.

It's still the typical, click on mob/player and then click F1, F2, F3, etc, etc. It's still the Lets spend long, long huge hours into leveling or trying to get an item or whatever. <--- That I'm sorry is not a test of skill. These are aspects that turns off a lot of people in the case of Aion.

To me, it's not much different from many other mmorpgs, but with a more pretty looking game. That appeal imo is the biggest drawing attention to the game of Aion. However again, the click, and forget it and pressing F1, etc, etc are simply too much, and too many other mmorpgs share this aspect already.

Something like Tera Online as I stated within another thread is more interesting because it requires a player to having to actually aim their skills and their attacks towards a person, so their won't be anymore players sitting their having auto-lock on a character pressing a few buttons and having all of their skills landing. This is something that obviously has been deployed in other games before, such as Vindictus and Monster Hunter.

Not an underrated game, but its also not a unique mmorpg that clearly stands out either.

 

i admit it, but not all because some are serious and know the game like me and my friends.. we do understand how to play and what it is so don't judge or say "ALL".......

 

Retail Aion is beyond fail. Nothing beats grinding a WEEK's worth of mats to try and craft an item only to fail at it. Drop rates in Retail are abysmal and just really disappointing. The overall system of Aion's combat works well. Also forgot to add that the dungeon lockout timers on retail are annoying.
