my ping is 500 and i dont enjoy it bcoz this freeking ping

i try to use the battleping wtf pingbetter gamebooster and all of them can
use only in 30min

Get Leatrix Latency Fix to begin with. It's crucial. After I reinstalled my Windows I had 600ms and spiking. I freaked out -- wtf? With Leatrix - 250. I can't tell if you'd get such a significant difference as well, sigh.

Next, soon you'll be able to get WTFast or LagKiller for free, 1~3 months. They're connection tunnels and pretty much shorten your ping by half. Plus they make it less spiky.

Any of the following: Battleping, Smoothping, PingBetter, WTFast, LagKiller would cost you two lunches the money for a month subscription.

500 ping, for me, is actually alright unless you play sin or chanter.
Im not using any ping reducers and i get 600+ ping, but im happy as a little chappy with it.
Leatrix latency is free so ive heard. Should start off with that first.

 

I tried leatrix, worked fine for me, but my net suddenly became really, REALLY SUCKY! Now it's back to normal, but below normal =.=

I'm not discouraging people to use leatrix, but that's what I experienced, probably my net is the real reason.

 

i had 500-600 be4 leatrix, 150-250 after (back in czech republic), now i moved to UAE and have shit net and 500 ping >.>

its not cuased by leatrix u know, all it does is modify 2 registry values. windows by default sends packets to the server in pairs so ur always waiting for the other one, this fix splits them up and sends them individually so its twice as frequent, thats how ur ping is cut in half. router settings can ruin this affect by collecting them again be4 letting them through

what u described happened to some people when their IP changed, u can either manually release ur IP and get a new one or unplug ur modem for 10mins, ull get a new IP that can be more stable. seriously a friend once got ping of around 1k xD IP change helped

 

The thing about Leatrix is that the same "fix" is a disadvantage in some aspects. It shortens your packet connection frequency to nearly none. If not in a secure server or whatsoever, it could "flood" your data flow, causing epic bills if your net is limited, or just making it freeze for a while due to an overflow.

 

yeah right. but still it sucked for me that's why I quit using it

 

most routers/modems have a flood protection some try pair them back up again. its true u use a little more bandwidth but not THAT much. it can reduce ur download speed by a little bit too, but not that significant for me to wanna have nuts ping in games lol

edit: well mine is nuts >.> but would be worse lol, its coz of my slow net atm
