where is Baugi?

can anyone tell me where is Baugi? i went to the Besfer Refugee Camp but the NPC is missing.. is Baugi Bugged? cuz i want to the easy mark title quest..

 

use /where Baugi or /pathfinding Baugi, if ur on the same map it will mark them wherever they r on ur map

if ur near and cant see them, use /select Baugi to target him wherever he is (even in a wall) and autoattack to talk to him (even in a wall)

 

if he is in a wall or under the ground u can also pres f7 to find the nearest ally

true but i find this one more accurate, especially in an area with many npcs and such

 

Elyos killed him... Now he is respawned at Z coordinate = 0...

 

or maybe the elyos killed Baugi...i went there just now, and there are 50 elyos

 

where is that?

Dear markostaman,

To find the exact location of the NPC you speak of , you need to follow these steps:

1) Visit www.aiondatabase.com and search for "Baugi" to make sure he is your race's NPC, skip this, i searched it up for you, it is an Asmodian NPC.

2) Get ingame and type /where Baugi or /pathfinding Baugi to see his location on the map. (He is in Beluslan , at besfer refugee camp. Location: 582, 1935, 470)

3) Open your map and go to the location marked as a purple "x" on your map.

4) Once you've reached that location , check your minimap , if he appears as a purple X it means he is there but he is either floating (flying above you , on the air), or beneath the ground (under the floor , under you). If he appears as a purple dot , it means the NPC is not there. Which means it was killed by an Elyos.
It is possible for some NPCs to be missing. In this case, you report the missing NPC so the Developer can add it. But before you do , make sure you are at the NPC's spot right after the server restarts once to make sure it has not been killed by an Elyos.

5) Place your cursor over the Dot/X (put your mouse on the npc on the minimap) to see what height he is at. If it's too close it will show a "=" , no matter what the height is. If he is above you , it will show a red arrow pointing up "^" or a blue arrow pointing down "v" if below.

6) Use the /Select Baugi command to target him. If the NPC does not exist , you will not target anything.
If you manage to target him , press C repeatedly. If he is close , you will still be able to talk with him but if you see yourself running towards a spot then stopping without something happening , it means the npc is above/below you but at a long distance and you can not reach it.
