Yeah it's just be being lazy to look for the old post =( and Im just so bored at work so im doing this xD

 

I'm not gonna flip out and say all kinds of crazy stuff. Really, i'm not. There is a short version, and a long explination why I think those things are true.

Short version: GameZ server has to many broken pvp areas and forces zergs to exist; dredgion is the main one. Cash shop, and ABG have successfully removed any want or desire for anyone to want anything that drops in the game. Also, no need to farm, or do quests, or wander off from a zerg because all you want, or need, or could ever ask for is in the Cash Shop.

Aion has built in ways of thinning and reducing the size of zergs drastically. GameZ Aion has successfully broken all of these said ways to the point where zerg is the only viable form of pvp.

1v1 pvp is working fine. Its called /duel in town. Also, 1v1 was designed to be found in the field. You just dont find it anymore because people do not need to wander off and do quests that would cause them to be alone and allow you to 1v1 or gank them and feel good about yourself.

Group v Group: Thats Dredgion. Its broken. Probably will never work right. To much involved with some coding, and monster AI, and drops, and AP gains, and... well you can figure out what would be needed to fix it, makes my head hurt thinking about it.

Zerg v Zerg: Working fine. Its no ones fault that all other forms of pvp have been disrupted to the point where only Zerg exists in its intended form.

More pvp would be had if the game was working the way NCSoft intended it to work. No reason to do instances, nothing drops, and what does doesnt help anyone because the Cash Shop put in ABG and that stuff is so broken it breaks the whole game.

No reason to do side quests because *someone* broke them all/removed them all. By "all" I mean quests that actually can drop you something beneficial. Like a good title. Nope, removed and put in Cash Shop. A good set of armor. A few pieces exist for most sets, but the full sets are not dropping. Exception would be the Spiritmaster set used to drop in Besh, not sure if it still does. A good extendable weapon. Removed and placed in Cash Shop. Anything good was placed in the Cash Shop.

The Cash Shop: As sorry as I am to say this, GameZ has been plagued with one problem for a long time. It stopped being fun not long after they introduced ABG into the game. ABG is a level 55 armor and is not supposed to have a set bonus. [See level 35 45 pvp armors] I dont think these bonuses were thought out properly. But when he put them in the cash shop for a high price, well lets just say, they sold much faster and more often than Carl could ever imagine. Hes been driving a Ferrari ever since. Also, it needs to be noted, if you have anything that drops in the game on, and none of the ABG stuff, you will do nothing but die x1500000 times without ever getting a kill. ABG is that good.

Accessing the Cash Shop: Its easy. Legal ways are the easiest. I will not mention or touch on the specifics of illegal ways. Make some money and spend some money. People who go to free servers for a good time will surely have the shock of their lives when they run into their first ABG sorc while hunting some dropped items or gear. BOOM multiple head shot. Makes mowing the neighbors lawn for some ABG stuff more of a reality than complaining on the forums that you got ganked.

(There you go Rizenz. Read that for something to do at work. It will explain a lot of what GameZ and the Cash Shop are about. Also, really liked how you explain to people how to stick to gether and have fun. Some call it Zerg, I call it, "The way its ment to be played.")

If Gamez can get Dark Poeta working properly via the ranking system, then I don't see how hard it is to get Dredgion working properly. Only thing that would be semi-problematic would be the "starting gate" and making it so people can't leave it before the timer is down.

 

I agreed to most of the parts of what you said ( actually read them because I am that bored at work lol )
Most people now see big groups as " Zergs " But back in my days with my fella pinoys we all stick as one and have fun as one and it could be in the mass of 10-20 players all together because we are all friends and we are just all having some fun. We get mowed down and die sure its no problem as long as we have fun xD. It's just the zerg on gamezaion is getting kind of outa hand @_@

First you are telling why zergs exist on this server and how aion not intended it to be that way and i agreed all the way up to that point. In your last sentence you actually contradict yourself and say that it's the way it's meant to be played, why's that?

They rank quickly when they Zerg, oh! and a funny thing about some "High Ranked!" zerg players is that, they have bodyguards I lol'd when i first encounter one, a 2 star officer "ranger" i forgot her name though, I know i SS'd it though, anyways she/he always got this Glad a cleric and a SM, i mean where ever she goes she always have those three with her, and "NO" they're not doing any raids or anythin, they're just aware that she was being stalked by me, i already killed her once and the second time she came out of the camp i attacked her again but i failed cause she already got her bodyguards with her and everywhere she goes they follow.. and i went Whattttt????? hahaha WTF!

 

ways to stop the zergs: stop talking about zergs, ya all zerg! proof; i used to find at least 5 ppl a day alone and done 1vs 1 em.. now hardly 1 every week to do 1 vs 1 rest are always in big zergs and dun even dare walk away from it to fight some noob elyo like me standing on the side, god i even sukz at zerging cuz i lag. i guess everybody that comes 2 post here about zerg is always dueling in panda / sanctum am i right? aion as a game encourage zergs so i dun think they going away so easly, tho alente suppose to do something about it .. i think its gonna take a while as for many things need to be fixed and implemented.

 

Glitched AP gain won ´t help to solve zergs ...

People don´t zerg cuz of AP, buz because they can´t do a thing on their OWN .... they simply likes to run i a hunch of 20+ poeple and hunt solo people ...

Just look. F.E. on LC videos ... there is massive Ely zerg there, but they are going back cuz of few asmos are together ...

i already accepted the fact that Aion have been and always will be a ZERG game.. even before i started playing Aion i already knew it will be a group battle cause i mean that's what MMO is for right?/! Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game... and one thing, Aion even got a promotional Vid about Massive wars/battles or in our term, ZERG fights.. when you play MMO's you should be ready and accept ZERGING. I did! but i just hate it when I get Zerged. I prefer soloing that's how i play

I get pissed when I'm in a zerg too D;. It's like.. I'm recording and looking for 1v1s, and then I see a zerg from my own race. IRL I facepalm and stop recording. :c
