    I played guildwars 1 since the betas and i somehow can't shake the feeling that gw2 won't be as great.

    lame, no offense dude but the game is even running on high resolu but still the effects are really unappealing -.-

    specially the skills, and skillbars. -.- not to mention the overall gamepley.

    dude its still in Alpha Stage, so there's a lot of time to change something. I will not argue with you about the graphics, because every player have a different taste in graphics. some people will like WOW type of graphics, some will not.

    I havent played a GW2 Demo but i can say that the graphics and effects of GW2 are awesome just by watching videos in youtube. :w00t:

    - That being said, we are currently in closed alpha and haven't yet announced how we will be handling the closed beta, or invites to the closed beta process for Gw2 yet. We do plan to go into closed beta testing by the end of the year.
