First time Playing Aion so just some noob question

so as the title reads it is my first time ever playing aion and I was wondering what the pvp system is like. I played Lineage 2 for like 7 years before this and I am wondering if pvp is similar, can I kill people outside of town and initiate pvp that way or is it more centered around pvp zones or duals that need to be accepted, I just want to know so that I can figure out if Aion fits my play style, no offense to any one but to me grinding and quests is only 1/4 of the game for me I live for non scripted and pvp/pk and while Aion seems very cool with awesome skills and classes and graphics if the pvp is scripted atleast I can not waste my time with something I will get bored with very quickly.

 

u cant kill members of the same race as u, but u can duel them freely.

u can only kill the players of the oposite race (asmo kill elyos and vice versa)

and yeah, its centered on some specific battle zones and duels which need to get accepted.

 

Non scripted..

walk around in pvp maps and the next thing you know 5 enemies are on ur tail
