New sin needs help

Hey I am new to the sins class and lately I have been pvping. I always seem to loose the person Iam attacking eg. I will attack them and they will just run away and I can't catch them. Does anyone have any tips on how to hold them with me? Also Iam not sure on wat is the best skill chain for pvp. My gear is full abg swords and acc my armor is 55pvp set.

 

Do you use sprint* v.v + speed scroll? o.e Sins are the fastest class on land (Other than Mau form Rangers) x.x

 

Terror means Sprint + speed scroll >.>

Anyway start carving runes and don't use skills that cause you to stop moving to attack x.x

 

invest in a bow

Lol yes I use scrolls and sprint. I get right next to the person Iam attacking but when I go to attack I stop moving then they are out of range . And about bows I thought they would be useless cause we don't have any skills for them.

 

It isn't useless, did you know that APPLY DEADLY POISON stacks with bows? Means your normal attacks with bows can stun. Hope you get it

I got a tip for ya, read the skill descriptions carefully when you're new to that class. Great help for you to quickly learn it.

 

This is why I like to work on my EQ .... getting your ABG won´t mean a thing, cuz you can´t play your class ...

If you have been playing like normal player and ACTUALLY worked hard for your EQ, we won´t be having this thread ...

Anyway good luck wth learning your class .... you sprint + scroll ... on move use Slash Chain, suprise attacks and switch to extendable ... Only Rangers, other sins and glads/temps should be able to outrun you

another thing, always buff your poison skills(not including the lethal venom and flurry + ur buff which boost 1 skill only, Killer eye, Eye of Wrath, Deadly focus and devotion, since it's only around 10 secs and 5 secs) and deadly abandon + clear focus. It will lessen ur time buffing the skills which boosts ur 1 and only skill that you will use. then after buffing those skills which boosts ur skills, always use your Dash And Slash 1st, since it will deal A LOT of damage (I heard that it's bugged too, I experienced it that. I fought a sin with Archon Squad leader's dagger and used DnS to me, it's damage is 500 but my HP went down to 1/4). Then after ur DnS, use ur Ripclaw Strike always after u use 1st skills. then use rune detonation and pop carving runes. should be able to kill a ranger in no time.

 

Start carving runes, Fang strike chain pulls your targets back if they try to run and if that doesnt work use ambush to get ahold of them again and use some more chains after that. If they are still alive and trying to get away use DNS Dash and slash and I recommend using fang strike again after DNS cuz it pulls them back if they try to run, and if that still fails use a bow while you have sprinting on and chase them unless its a ranger on mau form, someone said on this thread that templars and glads can out run sins? for 12 sec sure but u can catch up lol, anyways after catching up ambush hope you stun them xD just redo the cycles and you should be fine... AND one last thing try weaving ( normal attacks after some skills )

I know this might not be perfect but its somewhat usefull @_@

P.S. always use Ripclaw and Signet of Silence when the CD is done and other runes. Most helpful tip is read your skills thats about how i learned sins and other classes i just sit there for hours reading and setting up my skill chains lol

 

To plechac I am sorry that I paid for my armor. But Iam new to sins and to this sever. I played retail aion for 1 and a half years as a sorc, I got sick of the massive retail aion grind

Don't worry about the haters they just jelly we can pay for our gears ;D I payed for mine and I did work hard on it with my hard earned cash on my job. I actually work to get my self some money for day to day needs, no time to farm and all that shit lol xP

 

I got a sin aswell with the same gear as you have and people run away from me too. It could be cause of "Titles". 5% faster running for 500 credits is worth it =|
