well, for me technically if a new armor/weapon comes along and is more OP the ABG, then people need to adopt. and i'm sure there would be cries, but they can't do anything at all it is bound to happen sooner or later, level 55 won't always be the cap. what about level 60 eternal pvp gears? that just means more money for Gamez.

 

Did you notice on the site, that any ABG item, doesnt have pvp attributes, but only 1 extra manastone slot??

If you go out and buy an iphone for example they don't refund your money when a new one is released. Anyways it's all considered a donation, the abg is pretty much a "gift" for your donation.

They are called "donations" to avoid the wrath of ncsoft's legal policies and such. This "donation" you speak of is no more then a formal word for "BUY" and is part of a few legal loopholes that keep this server up and running. You must be new to p-server communities before "Donation" was used it was pretty much treated as you bought the shit with your money. It's still treated like that by most sane people.

I remember the old days when Fenris/Miragent was hailed as the most awesome gear out there. Is it anymore? Nope.

If the new gear was better than ABG, I still wouldn't buy it. Isn't the situation same atm? ABG > APP, slight difference, but APP is pretty damn good gear still. The little difference of the new gear compared to ABG isn't gonna make you the next OP thing running around.

if you really need to push then, maybe a server wipe including characters and return the credits from donations. that would probably work.
