Need Help on how to beat range classes

Im a Gladiator and i really have a difficulty on beating range classes even though my gears are way stronger... any tips? pro people i need HELP!!!!!:w00t:

 

rangers - Use the spear .kinda annoying, all you need to do is ankle snare . entangling arrow? = charge , leaping smash (if u get stunned when using it, it will be cancelled - it should work flawlessly when UD is workng), i use lockdown to bound but you can also aerial lockdown rght away.. once u are close to the ranger be careful of - sleep arrow he might use to get the range back,traps, shocking arrow, and retreating slash
if u get him in aerial lockdown its over for him - SPC and crippling cut.. use the skill that lowers def when u can ..
if you get low on hp from the bursting use regular pot abyss pot stamna recovery and SW ... in this order

use the cleave skill but dot use the chain cleave skill, use the one that slows the target

if the ranger is using bestail fury its even better

i play both the glad and the ranger as my main... i did have a sorcerer in retail but i remember almost nothing, therefore i can only advice on the ranger

tnx but, i did that but heres wut happened when i leaped smash i got knocked back like many meters away then he slowed me and DPS'ing i still didnt die then when i had the chance to use lockdown she slept me put a sandstorm trap and thats it i die later on from another round of dps -.-(BLIND IS THE ULTIMATE WEAKNESS OF A GLAD IMO)...

 

i told you to be aware of these 2 ... when you close the range between you and a ranger they get scared and panic, going like - "no way im failing on a glad " therefore - slee and sandstorm...
anyway... i also told u to time your leaping smash, i do it after the ranger hs used the stun arrow, so its in CD when i leap and wont get cancelled. when u leap successfully, bound him IMMIDATLY, then move to SPC or aerial lockdown

when u get blinded for 25s its best to swtich to shield-sword, def preperation, ankle snare the dude and run out of his range.
after that switch back to the spear and aions strengh

 

Dude i actually won this time lol so it was the stun arrow that srewed up the leaping smash... real tnx man ur d best ^___^...he went like..(how did he get so good? :love

and the the next round she directly slept me and trap, the shield suggestion was just awesome she was barely scratching me with def preparation up...:lol:

 

Fool proof way imo. Find a decent pvp shield (use taha until you can get it) filled with block stones and +15. Get a nice sword (taha sword/mirganet dagger) and +15 it. Oncce you see a ranger, switch to this (secondary set) and pop shield def (need to be on ground, id just pop this everytime you log in) and switch to def prep. Now closing in on him shouldn't be too hard since you mitigate most of the damage. Once you do close in on him, you should probably switch to spear, but most people you could easily kill with the sword...cleaving them or even auto attack killing them. The few "good" rangers might require to kill them fast. You have 2 snares so you should be fine even if he sleeps you.

 

Wall of steel its a goos skill to own a ranger. aerial him and he is dead.

 

In a duel, popping WoS will get you flamed. And you are thinking of a duel since you mentioned aerial which will not happen unless he is on the ground. The problem is reaching him before you die, so my method works. Once you reach him its easy peasy

 

i hate using wall of steel in a duel... only when i have to, cuz most of te time i duel in heiron and afraid i might need to smash some asmos and it's on CD

How to beat a ranger? Just patch the game.

 

I would suggest my method. Most rangers are pieces of cake from that point on. Im telling you, you could auto attack kill the majority of them, and cleave the rest to death (no need for snare even ). The good ones require a bit more effort but are easy also. and the "really" good ones will be the challenge in which you should use a bunch of techniques to stun lock. I suggest not relying on aerial, final strike, SPC, or SS . Trust me, if you do rely on them, you will get annoyed in aerial pvp or when they fix them. Glads are so bugged right now, enjoy your OPness while you can though

 

u said the ranger used focused evasion to avoid your sleep skill? no , sorry...
