2.7 Is there no fix for this problem?

the Gamez AION installer
and the version is updated to 2.7
and the bin.32rar is not opening to me say it broken or some error
if u can reload it plz i would be great full thx

 

what does it take to create this magnet link? I have a friend that may be able to help or maybe someone on the forum could start this? would something like this take awhile to finish? and thanks for helping out so much its appreciated

the bin32.rar is perfectly fine, downloaded by many people already. either you dont have the right program to extract it or your own download is corrupted, just redownload it

you need 1 of these
1. winrar
2. winzip
3. 7-zip

we dont support the 2.7 client yet so yeah u need the bin32 for 2.6

its pretty fast, just run uTorrent, goto file -> create new torrent, pick the files you want in it and the other settings like the size you wanna download it in (it cuts the whole size into small fragments, you download 1 at a time, allows for download resuming and speed optimization). that creates a 1kb file that links the downloaders to the people seeding the torrent. you would double click this on your own pc, it will load in uTorrent and u start downloading

 

i downloaded it allready 3 times same thing

what error do u get btw. do u get it while opening? or trying to extract?

1 person had an error trying to extract, but it was caused by user account control that doesnt let u extract inside program files. if thats the case, extract it anywhere else (like ur desktop) and overwrite it with copy pasting

 

but from utorrent how do you connect to other peoples files they are uploading? do you just search for a keyword?

 

no thats the 1kb magnet link that they generate, it establishes a link between you and other people uploading when you load the magnet link in your uTorrent ^^

they will send you the 1kb magnet link. we can also upload this 1kb file on our website so that everybody can join this connection and help share the file

 

when double click to open it say "unexpectedand of archive"
and when trying to unrar it it say the file is corupted

 

it does that when your download interrupts. check the filesize, it should say 17.7mb in ur browser (18,108kb on the actual disk). if its any smaller, its not complete and you have to redownload it

i downloaded the file just now, opens just fine, nothing wrong with it

 

it ok i downloaded from my other pc and it seems ok
and the reason was my firewall didnt let me open it

 

btw i have unistall the client coz couldnt download the bin b4
and now reinstalling again
so i will let the client to update to version 2.7 and add the bin file in?
and after that will add the gamez installer launcher and i am ready?

 

yeah thats all, however ur map wont open and the quest list will have invisible quest names, if u can live with that

we r trying to setup a 2.6 client torrent for people atm

 

hmm why map are not opening and quests invisible is ther any file missing
or some kind or problem of server?
maybe can transfer a file from other client?

btw crafters get a headache too if they upgraded to 2.7 and downgraded again - no recipes visible. In my case that ached because I mastered all professions on alts

 

i tried that, tried transfering everything and nothing fixed it, theres 1 file thats most likely causing it, but cant be transfered due to file incompatiblity, it causes the game to crash at startup so yeah, it sux

anyways its caused by the 2.7 client since our server runs on 2.6

ow good to know, havent checked be4, i dont even play anymore xD

actually about that, i do have a question

crafting still works even if the recipes have invisible names right? coz quests still work too, u just cant see the quest name in the list

and yeah crafting and quest interface r identical thats why

I have not tried Smartik - I noticed the text of the recipe titles vanishing to the right and gave up until further investigation. was actually pondering copying the files from this pc to the game pc - just needed to trigger the action
