Cleric in PVP

Good day everyone. I am new to Cleric class and I want to know how it works in pvp. I know the necessary manastone build as well as equipments so no problem with that. I am a full support and I heal a lot. I love doing group pvp.

As a Cleric, I am always targeted first in group pvp. My question is how do I avoid being killed while supporting my groupmates? Everytime I heal my group, everyone is focus firing me and my shields do not last long and when it's gone, I'm dead. If I heal myself, I survive but my group gets killed, and being the last one standing, I'll die as well.

Any good advice, techniques, styles etc. will be appreciated. Also, having 1v1 battle sometimes while roaming a map looking for a group is common. So my next question is, what offensive skills are the best when having 1v1? What's the first skill to use? Second, third and so on?

 

Never be on front. Always pop Healing Servants

EDIT: about your next question, always use Noble Energy 1st, then Root, then spam DPS spells. always spam root once it CD's and Noble Energies (I think 1 is enough to kill a person if he doesn't have much MRes)

 

If you play on siel the best you can do is go offensive instead of this "support" type. I'd go for Mag acc & Magic boost build along with cloth gloves to add casting speed, if you know how to play well you will know the right time to DPS and heal.

 

Dont Listen To them! they dont really play cleric!

Best thing to do it have 2 sets a mr chain set mace and shield and ma cloth with a staff with ma! and your golden

 

Oh man, you aren't reading, he's fine with builds in items, he wants advice about TACTICS on being a support cleric and in a 1v1 battle.

Maybe you're the one who don't play cleric, coz I am playing cleric.

 

Keep root and blind handy. I have them macro'd and use them often.
I like playing in small groups too, and I'm main support. You just have to kite a lot.

Root, Blind, Punishing Wind->stunskill
Call for a cc when needed, I play on vent and I call for earthquake wave ALL the time.

Are there any other Cleric skills that disables your enemy? Root, the Punishing Wind chain, what else?

 

Nah.. I have buttons on my mouse. One of them is for root, one is for blind, one is for dispel, and the last is for cure mind.
I only.. only do ground pvp so I use R for healing servant, F for immortal shroud, C for remove shock.
You might wana try putting root for R, and F for blind? It's just a way to cc someone while still kiting / healing your team mates. It's effective.

So you won't have to click on them, then your skill bar.
