Some general questions

Since I started playing on Siel recently, I've been meaning to ask quite a few questions, mainly directed at the economy.

First and foremost, what do pvp sets usually trade for. I'm thinking of starting small - EGT - and was wondering what exactly could someone selling want for it? I've already leveled my alchemy, aethertapping and am currently lvling my essensetapping but am curious as to whether ppl will be willing to trade their EGT sets for scrolls. Particularly running scrolls and crit scrolls since I got those designs. And if not, what's a quick way to get a decent pvp set. I've already got a full anuhart set with a yam bow, which is all well and good for pve, but doesn't quite cut it when in pvp.

I've got nearly 2 years experience as a ranger on another pserver where the stygma system was implemented so I know my way around ranger combos.

Another question would be the means of getting medals around here and their prices.

Lastly, I was thinking of voting for premium membership but am unsure if it'll prevent me from getting VIP through voting later on.

Starting in EGT is good. I just also started and currently using EGT and I'm doing good so far (In pvp terms).
I'm not sure if people would want running and crit scrolls for their EGT set, but you could try it through LFG chat.
The quickest way I got my pvp set (EGT is decent enough for me, but not good enough against ABG users) is for a 1k VIP credits or 1 ABG acc.
I'm not quite sure about medals.
Premium membership won't prevent you to have VIP membership in the future.

 

You should make all 8 accounts and level them up so they can buy from material NPC. This eliminates the need for aether/essencetapping.

You could make bulk potions/scrolls/food and sell in 10k+ quantities. I imagine it would be a lot of hard work, but there is a good difference between ABG and EGT (ABG has hidden stats [61 attack, 800 HP, 361 parry.])

 

So, in your opinion, is it worth it making a ton of scrolls in hopes of trading them for EQs, or should I look for alternative methods. From what I gathered during a BT run yesterday the best way is to make a ton of chars and lvl them to 55 then take their plat medals. It's gonna take me a while to get 1.5k vp for vip then another 1k for egt gear. Like, nearly a month if I vote twice every day.
