And to stay on topic~ I like the music you included with the vid. The clips are pretty nice for just old clips lying around as well.

Sleeping cleric while penance is up won t work

 

Because a good gladiator has no chance against the current state of sorcerers with an infinite supply of custom nerfs and bugs right?

 

I can't beat Physicist 1v1(this is with the root bug+conc bug)

 

i haven't killed pro sorcs in 1vs1 on my glad. T_T

Elemental defense food, elemental defense scrolls + noble horned dragon emperor malevite glasses + defense preparation when being nuked, grats you just reduced damage by 31% + the custom nerf of 20% on inferno making it hit for 2k.

it means your penance is up right before sorc sleeps you. so sleep won't work.

I got what he meant, I was asking. Now I'll use penance all the time when fighting a lot of sorcs.

 

Don't have NHDE glasses, ele scrolls+food true, not possible using defense prep unless you do it ahead of time since the only time you should be getting infernos off is if the gladiator is covered with silence+root. Just saying I can't beat Physicist 1v1, I can beat any other sorc though

 

So far the only gladi i can't beat for the life of it is Efrit. I have 20 seconds to kill him with suppli of focus since i'm a hybrid build with low macc and he is full magic resist. But all my damage just give laughable numbers the 20 seconds im hitting and after that it's game match and set.

 

So I should restate what I said to say sorc should always win 1v1 except against SMs, really good templars, and the extremely situational time where a gladiator is for some reason socketed MR with NHDE glasses+has ele def scrolls up? =o

You just said you can beat any gladiator but Efrit who has all those things I mentioned. ^_^

I'm referring to the average person that you will encounter in solo PvP. Encountering a gladiator socketed MR with nhde glasses+ele def scrolls is almost impossible to find. Really good templars and SMs are plausible however.

Oh, I only use sleep for testing mr since I find it fairly useless else wise. (why I used it on the temp when he put AA on)

Also I never find glads a problem o.o
The only time a glad might get me below half in a 1 v 1 is a cleave kd.

 

Well my tactic against glad is >
If I catch him unprepared I start with flamefusion,Chain of Ice,silence,root ... Now I start nuking.
Delayed + Inferno ... good gladiators will be put HP pot after my "control" combo, so they are full hp ... If I don t procc silence from GS, they outheal my Nuke with secondwind and other stuff if they have it ....

If I catch him prepared and he is rushing with buffs, I CC him 30 sec until it runs off > Sleeping storm > sleep > Tree > sleep
Then I start Frost>FF>sielence >root ... pretty much the same as the top, just swaping Chain to Frost... jumpcasting each cast to gain distance ... my problem is that after this nuke combo, gladiator is on 60-70% hp . and now they start stumbling me to death ....
Again, the good gladiators ... most of them die to nuke combo

With 10% GS, decent glad can kill sorc ... atleast EGT sorc .. if I was full ABG with 10% blind, I think the glad would have a problems ...

I have messed up a little .. because probly due to high ping I have canceled myself my own silence, therefore leaving glad to use strenghten wings ...
After that there goes stumble maraton ...
But one thing that got me was stumble thru the 1000 stumble ressist ...

 

Uh a thing that works on nearly every gladi is frost --> flame fusion --> soul freeze --> roots --> tsunami --> inferno --> wind cut down. Useally i would also cover with flame cage but hey, it still rapes roots qq.

 

your frost flamefusion silence will be outhealed by pot ... by the time nuke lands, silence is off and they can heal thru second wind and second pot .... if they got Life crystal, god saves us ...
