Login Issue

Hello Brothers,

I need help, I have client installed version 2.6.0.4 and I am launching through Gamez Launcher already but somehow, it keeps giving me the "ID and Password do not match (2)" message. I already registered an account on Gamezaion.com. It seems like the client is not connecting to Gamez Server, it's connecting to the official game server.

How to reset this, please help me !

Are you booting Aion from NCSoft launcher of Gamez?

 

1. try login to the website to see if ur login actually works
2. install the gamez launcher into ur aion folder, then try login

(dont use the ncsoft launcher to run the game)

Thanks for the reply, yes I downloaded this installer http://gamezaion.com/Gamez Aion Installer.exe and installed already.. and I am launching from GamezAion.exe in the Aion folder... the client opens fine to login screen... but I can't login using the account I created on Gamezaion.com

 

yes Smart, I already login on the gamezaion website.. my account is working fine

 

try login to the site to see if the login works

u can also use our alternative bat launcher to run the game
GamezAion.bat

paste this into ur aion folder and run, it connects u directly to the server, should work

 

Hi Smart, I tried using the Bat file already, somehow it's still giving the same error login message.

any way to reset this, looks like my client is set to official server

 

tbh ive never seen the retail news feed xD

u should check ur ncsoft launcher to make sure ur region is set to north america (cancel any update if it starts, also disable automatic updating)

also if ur using more aion folders, make sure ur launching the right one

 

Retail is at 2.7 now so i'm pretty sure it would talk about 2.7 being released not 2.6, Smartik will lead the way.. follow him

 

he seemed pretty certain his client is 2.6 though. 2.7 wouldnt tell u ur login is wrong, it just wouldnt react at ur login screen

 

But Retail Aion would not allow you to go to the login screen without updating would it?

 

Honestly, I have a character on the official Vaizel server and this is my second time trying to play on Gamezaion server, got the same issue, can't login or connect to Gamez server, somehow, I missed some tricks or some files... dont know why my client is always connecting to the official server like that... and you are right, there is that news feed on my client even when I launched through gamez launcher... hope someone can help me

I stopped subscribing to the game and haven't updated to 2.7 yet

 

Is your account brand new?
If so, if you are willing give either me or Smartik your account details in a PM and we can check if it is client related or not.

Note, you would normally never give anyone you account details like EVER but if it is a fresh account i see no issues with it, you could always make another one if you felt threatend from us.

 

well the news feed is irrelevant, im just not used to it. people who login to our server but came from infinite keep the infinite news feed even though they log games

do u use only 1 aion folder to play? is ur ncsoft launcher region set to north america? if not u have to change to it, repair, then downgrade

as long as ur aion.bin is linked properly in the ncsoft launcher and the bat launcher is in ur aion folder, it should log u to our server even if u didnt install the gamez launcher from the website

checked caps lock? xD nah lol just running out of ideas

edit:

check if u have d3d8thk.dll in ur bin32 folder, thats the file that redirects u to our server rather than retail

u can also try right click ur launcher and run it as administrator, not sure that will help though

 

Smart, I sent you my account details, it's new account... help testing it and I am running 1 aion folder, I mean the default ... I don't change anything.. this client login to the official game fine when I was playing it.

I am running windows 7 32 bit

I find this problem strange as well

I don't have fast internet connection, redownload the full 2.6 client again.. will take at least 2 days for me... sigh and sad

 

ur client is fine, its the % symbol in ur pass, special characters get ****ed up in the database, just change ur pass or remake ur account with a normal password and itll work ^^

thx to the sign messed up, its no longer the same as what u think it is and yeah it tells me they dont match either

 

Well the brains of Gamez have clashed heads and found a solution that means you don't have to download the entire client anymore.

Is your settings not set to North America?
Gamez will not run on Europe settings.

 

relax its just a special character in his password, just has to change that and itll work

btw according to the spam bot, viagra is the solution xD jk
