Why am i stuck in a small room with a Laptop and a cat? [Free giveaway]

So i thought i would tell you a little tale of how i have become stuck in a small room on a laptop.


Yesterday i was happily playing some Aion on my Cleric (As you do) and i have a cat called Boo (Bare in mind i am at Uni)

Anyways, one of the other housemates i share my house with (6 others) have two little kittys about 6 months old and i have been trying to introduce them but my cat is having non of it.

Anyways, i'm playing Cleric and healing my pants off when i notice one of the kittys staring at my plug socket to my PC... so i decide to go check it out and i can hear a loud cracking sound every 5-10seconds which i thought was really weird.

I turned my PC off straight away and attempted to unplug my power cable from the socket using rubber gloves.
I then noticed that my plug was wet... so i checked the smell to ensure it wasn't cat wee or anything and it wasn't and i was still very confused because the socket was still making the noise...

Can anybody guess what happened?

Also, i have been stuck in a small room because we are having maintenence men come round soon to fix the issue but we are not allowed cats in the house so i am hid away with Boo because she crys when she isn't in familiar surroundings bless her.


If anyone can figure out what the real issue was within 4 pages, i will buy them ANYTHING they want from the Black Wing Store.

It turns out i have a leakage in my ceiling from the shower above and the water was hitting the plug socket which made the sounds, the technician is currently fixing the issue, that is why i have been demoted to a small room and a laptop lol.

Pipe leaks from above or most likely your cat chewed the wire.

 

Sometimes ants/insects can live inside of the plugs, when some of the ants touch the wires and electrocuted there will be a weird noise like cracking on your socket. Well maybe your cat chewed the wire thats why it is wet. Just guessing but it happens really... o.e

maybe if U had a picture of what it looked like before and now, we might get the picture. But thinking of a socket, what kind of socket is this. Is it on the wall or on the ground, maybe it rained and dripped something to it, or one of the kitties were drinking something so their mouth are wet and licked it ?

oh...god...im thinking atm that the kitten got inside the computer and got chopped to pieces by the ventilator =(

 

You got a pc with watercooling so it have leaked on your powersupply? XD

 

im guessing the air conditioner broke down, started leaking water on the plug, therefore the wetness and the cracking sound ... i still dont know how the kittens are related though
