    Glacial, ask Deleven, its the best solo build. Just port to location spammed in LFG and nuke ur skills. Remember Vaizel's +Glacial then LB.

    GPP never came off to me as a m boost set, but you do have an ABG Orb.
    Also since you're not in all eternals I wouldn't attempt mr.
    So I guess it might be best to use hp to about 9k then use ma to around 1550 and the rest boost.

    If he's going to stack some magic resist anyway i would say he could rather take ele ward over sleeping storm. I find ele ward more survivability.

    Yea but only ward if you stack mr. Otherwise he'd be getting hit by magic and other impairments with it. mr should more or less be a final stat, with dmg, being able to hit, and hp taking first priority.

    No doubt but i would almost argue that magic resist has taken priority over hp since it gives such incredible survivability.

    I roll with 1.9k magic resist myself which is 2.2k with ele ward and that's enough but as ablazed said you need a solid magic boost and accuracy as well. (even though i only have 1680 magical accuracy unbuffed, i'm just pro like that ~~) For starters i would go with ablazeds stigma build and manastone build (i also started like that) then when you get comfortable with the class you could try going magic resist hybrid.

    1.9k is enough, but how are your other stats? Sure you might survive clerics, and escape from snares, but will you be able to kill anyone? Will you be able to momentarily tank that glad or ranger while you kill the cleric or temp?

    I would like to present you my "stigma" build which I am using almost ALL the time ...

    This I would consider as the "base stigma composition" ....
    You got ilusion, which is MUST HAVE
    You got your CoW and other pimpish stuff
    You got another MUST HAVE stigma and that is Elemental ward ... the 300 MR is very nice, but the BEST part of this skill is +300 Elemental defenses .. which is very handy against other casters, especialy if you have some ele ressist gear and scrolls

    Now, you can go to ways...

    I have been rolling with sleeping storm ... it is a very good skill, that will give you time to cool of your CDs or setup a nice starting possition...also thanks to this Skill I was able to win numerous 1 vs 2/3

    You can go with Arcane thunderbolt ... it is handy, but I have minimum to zero experience with this stigma .. currently trying it out..

    For "normal" stigmas, you got one free slot in case you roll sleeping storm .. you can either go with Summon whirlwind .. very good spell, but its only flaw is very low Maa ... on players with 1400 Mr fails a lot ..


    For armor question, look to my Sigg ...

    I would suggest you to socket Maa so you have atleast 1840 + Use food +60 Mb+60Maa .. and rest you can distribute to Hp/Mb

    As in my Sig, I have one set EGT based on 3/5 full +95 HP ... I have 10k HP 1850 Maa and 2200 MB ... and in Maa set I have 2k Maa 8500 hp 2200 Mb ...

    Stacking MR on anything that doesn t have STOCK + MR is useless

    I have listed "basic MUST HAVE" stigmas .. and have described two ways he can go from that "stock stigma composition" ... either way I would rather edit it .. thx for pointing out

    I would not call Ele Ward a must have stigma.

    It's useful, but sleep storm can easily be interchangeable with it if using Arcane Bolt.
