Wings problem !

This obviously doesn't work.

 

I have the EXACT same problem. I just started this server today and I can't fly at all.

I've made several characters and can't fly on any of them. Yo this server seems nice, but with no help comin I'ma bounce.

I've tryed contacting a GM in game, but no reply now too.

Just checked and my Aion is fully updated...I have no IDEA what else I can be forgetting if anyone has any random ideas at this point anything would be helpful.

I hate to double post, but I actually really like this server. I got some friends playing and any help would really be appreciated. Just think of random things people? I've tryed some stuff, but I'm sure I haven't thought of everything.

It seems everytime I restart Aion after adding g_freefly = "1" to system.ovr. The system.ovr file completely disappears until I shutdown Aion. When I check it after I shut it down ng_freefly = "1" is back and not g_freefly = "1". I'm guessing that is the problem however I have absolutely NO IDEA how to fix it....So if anyone has anymore ideas please help!

Okay I have the solution just copy and paste all of this into your system.ovr file


-- [System-Configuration]
-- add your settings to this file, not system.cfg

g_open_aion_web= "0"
g_save_preset = "1"
g_auto_disconnect = "0"
g_chatlog = "1"
log_IncludeTime = "1"
con_disable_console = "0"
g_freefly = "1"
ng_freefly = "1"


This should fix the problem, as it did for me.

 

Look for a text file named 'system.cfg' and delete it, this file saves your last settings, and is auto-created every time you exit the game.

after that open your system.ovr in that folder.

paste this... (be sure to delete the existing contents of the current system.ovr) then paste the following.

-- [System-Configuration]
-- add your settings to this file, not system.cfg

con_disable_console = "0"
g_open_aion_web= "0"
g_save_preset = "1"
d3d9_TripleBuffering= "1"
r_Texture_Anisotropic_Level= "16"
d3d9_TextureFilter= "TRILINEAR"
g_freefly = "1"

chatlog may sometimes cause you to lag even more. if you choose to have this feature you can add it as well.

g_chatlog = "1"

 

Okay man. don't screw this up for them the fix I posted DOES fix this what you have here is not in my system.ovr and my wings work just fine now.

 

it works... i just posted a system.ovr which improves the gameplay and performance. meaning less lag.

 

We weren't looking for something to give us less lag we were looking for something to fix the free fly. I think maybe you should have posted in a different thread . . . .

 

I am not forcing you to copy the one i posted. if you dont like it. then move on. if you want to try it. then try it. if you dont care. then dont.

For some reason I can't fly in a certain map...anybody know a solution to that? I can fly other places just not in Brusthonon

 

I have the same problem i cant fly...only in fortress or abyss i can fly...I died to nub because I CANT FLY IN THIS AREA -.-'

geez people, delete your .ovr file and re download the gamez launcher.

 

Try changing them to R and F although theyre used for rise and fall.......i use them like this and never had problems try and leave the Rise and Fall empty...at the options thingy ^^ hope it helps
