Questions about the new Item paks

    Because i'm a little confused... :x

    I saw ShadeZ/Smartik1 both posting new item paks, which one is the latest? what are the diffirences between them?

    Also, i heard for some people the items.pak only works and for some only the client_items.xml, but i was wondering... since both of them work for me, which one should i use?

    Will the client_items.xml run faster because it is not compressed like the items.pak?
    Will the items.pak run faster because it's smaller in size?
    Or are they both the same?

    I've been wondering too coz Im copying the 2.7 client I updated last week from my win7 64 bit to my win7 32bit computer and IDK what to DL =_=.

    Mhm I tried version two and it didnt work I put back my old one now see what happens if it still fails ill try his version 1 if that fails too I guess I am just a failure QQ


    Edit: so my old one worked I am sticking with this one untill theres a new one that works perfect lol I'll wait for now <3

    Okay thanks. But which one is better? items.pak or client_items.xml?
    I got lots of space in my hard disk, i dun care if the xml is large, i just wanna know which one will run faster/will cause less crashes/etc.

    EDIT: I'm running vista btw ._. 32 bit.

    I have them both in my USA/Items folder.
    I just replaced the 2.6 item.pak with Smartik's.

    depending on the os. Most of the XP users can't use the .pak file so they need to use the client_items.xml. Maybe because XP can't decode it or... idk lol i'm not a computer expert. :D
