Where's the Jelly?

OK, I'm a huge noob on this server. I've been here all of...umm....4 days? Anyways, I was going to get me a handful of jellies with some Vote Points as I noticed you can get them pretty cheap; just to help me along. However, I stopped myself because...

Perer Aether Jelly is not listed as a reward. Even though I'm clearly Elyos and I click on my Elyos character, when I go to get the jellies only Cippo Aether Jelly is listed; which is of course an Asmo food dish.

Is race restrictions disabled here and so everyone just uses whatever? I know this is an EXTREMELY noobish question, but I didn't want to waste 100 Vote Points on something I can't even use.

Like I said, I only just started on this server. I know NO ONE here and I searched for over an hour for any thread that could even remotely touch on this question and found nada.

don't waste your credits on the jellys in the shop.. from shop only buy ABG they are the best!

Yup, buying Jelly with vote credits is SUCH a waste of points. Very easy to acquire or even buy :wink:

 

That's kind of not the point. XD I already have a character that's well on the way to being able to make them, but it will still take me a few days to a week to get all the mats for the expert quest and THEN I still have to farm the recipe. I kind of wanted just 2 jellies right now to finish a Flash set. It was me being lazy, but thanks anyways.

 

Jellies aren't race restricted in Retail either o.o

 

To actually answer, no there isn't a race restriction on food/weapons/armor, but there is on certain candies. I crafted my aether jelly when I was a asmo, and I still use it on the ely side, and that was forever ago.
