gather doesnt work

well, im at poeta with my lvl 55 ranger, i type //givemissingskills and i get the skill, when i try to gather the flower it doesnt work, why is that?

 

if i remember correctly poeta gathers are not available to daevas... at least it isnt in retail i am pretty sure its the same here... go to verteron or something..

 

I dont know on what flower you are talking about, but:
- is it a normal flower that can be gathered?
- is your gathering-level high enough?

 

Seriously get lost already... Youre just lucky noone is online that can banhammer you atm >.>

I had the same problem too. I realized at 55 how i should have been collecting.

The best thing to do is go to Vert. Near the thief quest where the thief, peon are and the frillnecks. You'll find the Aria plant which requires lvl 1. Build it up till you get essencetapping lvl 10, then there is a bush you can pick, it kinda looks like a rose bush, but has apple looking things. lol. Then you can pick the logs around the same spot and pumpkins (not sure what they are called in aion) but you'll get it lvled up quick. will still take some time, but you'll get there ^^.

Essencetapping is not same as gathering/collecting you do at early lvl before ascending to a daeva

after you do acension quest your not able to gather anything from poeta.
so if you want to get your essencetapping up go to Verteron/Altgard for the level 1 clams or whatever ^^

 

u forgot to mention to stop at the sanctum/pandaemonium crafting place to learn the lvl 1 be4 u can gather (not sure if thats autolearned or not)
