Flying Restriction

I'm here with this guy, IGN Furfenholf. He's a lvl 20 Ranger and is having problems with the free flight function in Sanctum. Every time he tries to fly he gets the retail message "You may not fly in this area", etc etc. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

 

go into ur aion folder, open system.ovr in notepad,

and add

Code:

g_freefly "1"

to it, exit and save

 

Alright, he's doing that now, will update on whether it works or not.

 

I have the same problem, and this fix does not work for me. Please help i love this game and i am severely impeded in my questing from this setback.

 

I'm having the same problem and I really like this server so far, but without flying, its way to long to get to quest mobs. If anyone has a solution that works, that would be amazing.
P.S. The adding that code it says access denied when i try to save it after adding it.

 

re download the 1.9 launcher in gamezaion.com and reinstall it. good luck!

 

are u doing the edit with aion closed? have u tried checking the properties of the system.ovr file? (right click it and pick properties make sure its not read only)

 

i have already reinstalled aion, and i think the launcher but all that did was waste time. I could try again but i doubt that its going to have much of an effect. I can add the code to the whatever file but it dosent do anything, all that was in the file was:

Replace the entire system.ovr file with:

I copied and pasted this after the other suggestion didn't work for me and it works just fine now.

It means you didn't install gamez aion patch.

 

i installed the patch but when i change for "g_freefly "1" and will gonna save give "acess denied" what i do?

Just copy and paste it into your aion folder and don't forget to have aion closed.

 

i did everything even followed guides still dont work, it piss me off, all flying and i cant kill them

 

I did what everyone wrote, it worked first, but when i exit the game and open again i cant fly. even though nothing in the system.ovr file has changed. i tried reinstalling gamezaion, and changing system.ovr file many times, but no use.

i don't know what i'm doing wrong. check the SS of the aion folder, let me know if i have something wrong.

 

I'm having the same problem, I even copied the systemfile from my brother but it still doens't work.
