SmartPhone Advice!

**EDIT: I got the HTC HD2 right now**

Ok so my phone contract is about to end. I have the choice to renew it. But i have no idea what phone i should choose.

I live in europe, and id like for u guys to give me advice on phones.

Keep it short and simple. I dont need an explenation of why for example android is better or windows mobile is better or IOS is better.

Why U think this is the best Smartphone for me.

Things ill be using it for:
- Everyday weather/news report
- Whatsapping/msning/FB-msging/Twittering
- Web surfing
- Occasional photo's
- Calling offcourse
- Some video recording
- Games/apps
- Open and edit word/excel files
- The occasional movie watching

edited, I have like 6 friends with the galaxy S2. It doesnt need to be a phone that is out now. It can also be one that will be out in the near future.

 

well can you get iphone 4s with your phone provider ? It's a pretty fast device

@ rokowo yeah i can get the Iphone 4s,

@ mamacita there is a catch. I got till the 28th of this month to choose. After that i wont be able to get the phone for free, and the 50% discount for the first 6 months anymore. So waiting is not really an option unless the phone is amazing

I'd go with the Galaxy SII. But to be fair i dislike iPhone, so all i could recommend is android based. HTC has some very awesome devices as well. As for Sony Ericsson, Arc had a really cool camera havent check those models lately.

 

Yeah the Galaxy S2 is rly popular right now. Make me not want to get it xD since like 5 of my friends have it allready. TBH i never rly liked apple products. But It wouldnt hurt to try it once. If i hate it i can always sell it, and buy another. But idk Android freedome has spoiled me a lot so... hmmm Dilema

 

Check out HTC models, cant remember wich one was comming out/just came out. There's also one from Motorola that was cool hmm lol cant remember names right now rofl.

OK googled em, HTC Sensation, LG Optimus 2X, Motorola think it was the Atrix, from SE it'd be Arc S.

 

Sensation XL, i've seen that one. Here u get beats headsets with it. The screen is huge 4.7 inch, High def, 1.5ghz. ill look into it. in the end it rly would come down to looks. If i had to choose between 2 or 3 with about the same specs.

 

Think all i mentioned have pretty much the same specs, if i had to pic one i'd pic the HTC one its really cool.
Bad thing is HTC is too lazy to mod newer Android OS to fit to their User Interface so if they ever get updated, it'd take one hell of a time.

 

Another thing that is important to me is battery life. Since the HD2 i have now only goes 14hrs it sucks up a lot, and it also get a little hot while gaming. i want one that is fast, but also lasts battery wise.

 

- Samsung Galaxy S 2. There's a reason why it's "IN". (it's the BEST android phone so far released)
- Samsung Galaxy Note -> I've been eyeing on this phone until last Nov 2nd where it is the first time that phone got released.
