If you have £1000/1,168.69 EUR/$1,580.65 US,

    didn't need the following;

    Mouse
    Keyboard
    Monitor
    Sound Card

What PC Build would you get?
Please state the Item, Price and link please.

I'm asking this because i have 1000 pounds to spend on a new setup but i am unsure on what to get.

I edit videos, and need to play modern games at high gfx.

You should probably state that you edit videos, and need to play modern games at high gfx.

I wouldn't be able to help you much. D: I'd ask smartik to help.

    Why the case anyways?
If you play for many hours continuously and/or let ur comp turned on for several hours it'll overheat and u'll lag :>
I have my pc's case opened, i just have to clean it more often cuz of the dust bcoz of that.

Those specs are perfect bro, buy it.
With my Q8400 (quad core, 2.8ghz) + GTX 460 + 4gb RAM i play aion maxed with a constant 60 fps in zergs it's 50fps. Crysis 2 / Skyrim and shit like that maxed with a constant 60 fps too.
    With a i7 + GTX 560 u'll do wonders.

i recommend more memory on ur gfx since 1gb is low.. i know they recommend at least 1,5 for just BF3 that aint the best looking game out here..

i buy my stuff from tigerdirect.com also got a store nearby, this is the pc im making:
Processor: AMD FD8150FRGUBOX FX-8150 8Core, 3.60GHz, 8MB L3 & L2 Cache overclocks for 4.20 ghz and 50 deg with H50 cooling system. tho the best 1 is the h100; its kinda big so u need a big pc case.
Video cards: Radeon HD 6870 2x ( crossfire rdy) 900 core clock 2 gb memory each ( they also overclock)
Ram cards: Corsair CMX8GX3M2A2000C9 XMS3, 2000 mhz , 4 gb memory (they come in kits of 2=8gb) theres an 8 gb card but has only 1066 mhz speed.. too low
    i like the ATX NZXT M59-001BK M59 Mid Tower Case 20" x 17.5" x 7.5"
Solid state drive :ADATA AS511S3-120GM-C S511 Series 2.5" - 120GB, SATA III 6Gb/s tho they still expensive to buy, any ssd with 500mb/s+ read/write speeds will make ur system fly but be warned not all suport win 7 64 bits, and they dun say it in the specs this 1 does.
    Power Supply: Coolmax CUG-950B 950-Watt ATX, SATA-Ready, PCI-E Ready
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G45 9 Series AM3+ ATX, Socket AM3+, AMD 970 Chipset, crossfire rdy suports 32 gb ram, dun worry u can zerg easly with those specs buahah.
